I hosted 12 guests in the private room at Coach Grill. Leading up to the event, Amanda did a fantastic job coordinating and providing helpful suggestions. The night of the dinner, the staff was friendly, accommodating, professional and we never waited more than a minute...More

The atmosphere seems to be geared toward the older crowd. Depending on who you get for a server, it can be a little slow. Food overall is mostly good. Drinks are very good. Somethings on the menu were better elsewhere but it's hard to have...More

Was there for Mother’s Day Brunch. Crowded, as I would have expected. Didn’t see our server for about ten minutes, which was irritating, and nothing really changed. Server was polite, but I think we were too far from the kitchen, for the amount of tables,...More

It’s been a while since my last visit and I was instantly reminded why. The ambiance is very stodgy and, well, outdated. It’s the epitome of a 1980 steakhouse. Food was okay. Steakhouse, remember. If you like big slabs of meat at unreasonable prices, you’re...More

Not my best experience here. The place was so busy that we weren't seated till 30 mins after our reservation... then it took a very long time for our apps. Was nice that management, recognizing the problem, comped our apps. The wine I ordered wasn't...More

My wife and I came to the Coach Grill as a date night. We hadn't been there together under its relatively new ownership, and most times I have gone, it has been for corporate holiday lunches with limited menus. It is quite popular and so...More

I love the old school, cozy feel of the coach grill and the food and service have always been very good. Our salad was huge, so we split one and I had the prime rib with a big to go box. The prime rib was...More

We are locals and have been to Coach Grill many times. It's always an interesting experience...hit or miss but consistently expensive. And this time that experience was validated. The food was relatively good but the bartenders indiffernet and frankly disinterested. That was a new experience...More

Driving through Wayland on the way home to Wellesley we decided to stop in on an old favorite - The Coach Grill. It's gone through a few stylistic and culinary iterations over the years, ratcheting up the finesse and prices at each step along the...More

We ate there recently with a group of friends, and the food was mediocre at best. This used to be a good restaurant, but I would never recommend it now. Tables were crowded together, making it impossible to walk around the table. We were very...More

We had Sunday Brunch there a few years back and enjoyed it. They didn't have a buffet, but their breakfast/brunch menu options were good and not extremely expensive though on the high end for this type of fare.
