we were in town to take the tour at wellesley the other day and about dinner time decided to find a local spot. a quick review brought up papa razzi and we called for a table. this is an excellent trattoria and is obviously really popular. top notch professionals work the place. though the calamari appetizer was run of the... It hard for a restaurant to never give you a bad experience, but Papa Razzi seems to have the process down. The food is good, with a reasonable selection of fine meals, nice portion sizes, and great, fresh tastes. But the really special aspect of this restaurant is that even on the few off days, it is still excellent. Having... More

Not. No. Not for me. Why? I'm not crazy about chains. In particular italo americano southern italian cuisine. With BAD dipping olive oil and hard/cold and stale foccaccia. And OVER DRESSED panzanella salad with droopy and mushy croutons. Pizza is "kinda" ok. Tastes like Papa Ginos. I was hungry, in a hurry, and traffic there is horrible and parking is... More

I've been a regular customer of Paparazzi Wellesley for more than a decade. Keep coming back for the consistent Italian food & wine that appeals to our family and others. Good pastas, wood-fired pizza, entrees and deserts. Careful: it can get very busy at lunch and dinnertime on weekends.

Ordered a manhattan, they gave me a glass with watered down bourbon. Service was slow, took 30 minutes for antipasti... the antipasto was disgusting, meat was thick and chewy. They messed up my ravioli order and gave me the wrong dish, it was rubbery and hard at the same time. This place is terrible. My Italian grandmother would be disappointed... More

My family has been coming to eat at this restaurant for years. The food has been consistently good and you know what you are getting. Wine and beer are consistent as well, better listings that what one might expect for a neighborhood bistro. For frequent visitors (we visit still at least once per week now that we are empty nesters)... More

We have eaten at several Papa Razzi locations and the one in Wellesley beats out some of the others like Framingham and Concord in décor, service and quality of cooking. While the menus are the same at each Papa Razzi, how the food is prepared and presented does make a difference. It probably speaks to the local management and staff... More

We go there on a regular basis (once a month) and simply enjoy the place, from the atmosphere to the menu, the place is always very good. Nice to know that one can go and find a place that consistently delivers a good experience at a reasonable price.

The service was fine. Nothing outstanding. What was disappointing was the quality of the food. The pasta, while expected to be aldente, was too aldente. I ordered the orecchiette Salsiccia. It had no taste. The sausage seemed to have been boiled, of the small amount that I found. Very little vegetables. My companions ordered Veal Scaloppini which was a bit... More

A bunch of friends met there because one of my friends goes there regularly and loves this restaurant. I found the food to be pretty tasteful yet a bit expensive. I noticed that the friend who happen to know the bartender and the waiter and waitress is gotten much better treatment than the other 10 of us… She seemed to... More
