We stop in here atleast every couple of weeks. Never had a bad meal. Have had a crabby waitress a few times but never bad enough to keep us from coming back. Food is always excellent and hot. Portions are large and the prices are very good. The open steak sandwich, lobster roll and baked scallops are my favorites. The... More

We read the reviews and thought this was going to be a find... We walked in the door and entered this dark den to see the hostess clearing off a table and wait for it... just dump it on the floor. Popcorn, French fries, whatever... and patrons just walked over it and smooshed it onto the rug. Where was the... More

I almost didn't want to walk in to this place. The restaurant was in a strip mall and it looked just ok. We were in the area for a sports tournament and asked someone for a recommendation. We had a long wait, made better by a few strong, well priced drinks. Our food was amazing. Lobster roll, scallops and haddock.... More

Looking for a great local lunch spot with friends go to JPs. Seriously great food at a low price. Daily specials are a go to and bar staff is awesome!

We are locals and love our JP's. We get our friends together and go on Sunday night at 7:30P after the crowds. Our favorites on the menus include the ever-generous Lobster Roll or Salad, Chicken Parmagiana, Boneless Buffalo Tenders-OMG!! and the Fried Clams Platter. Needless to say everything on the menu if great. The staff works hard to keep up... More

We recently moved from the area but were back in town visiting. We used to frequent JP's quite a bit because of value for your money. Still not disappointed even after being away for 8 years. We went on a Friday night (peak hours) and had to wait about 45 minutes, but a few drinks at the bar and our... More

I have been going to JP's since it's inception in '81, when I used to live in Westboro. I have since lived in Southern California, and now Alabama. But, all my family is still there, so I go up to Massachusetts as often as I can...and NO visit is without at LEAST one stop a JP's. ALL the food is... More

I may regret letting this secret out but..... if you like lobster (like I do) and have eaten as many as I have (living in New England all my life) don't even think of passing this little place by. It's not fancy but the Lobster Roll is by far the best I have ever eaten! The lobster was falling off... More

Summertime work lunch on Wednesday 08-24-16 with a buddy for conversation and, of course, the famous lobster rolls (pictures). Picture says it all except the price is smaller than the roll at $17.99. Ray, bartender, is a great guy and loves to talk sports. Have fun!

Enjoyed a delicious scallop dinner. I got it to go and ate at home. It is a small crowded pub atmosphere if you don't mind that, and usually very busy. But the scallops were delicious and from what I hear lobster roll and other food is tasty also. The price was right!
