I'd heard great reviews about this place so when a family member chose it for his birthday dinner I was looking forward to it. We had reservations for a Saturday evening. There were five of us. This is not your typical Mexican food. Everyone was happy with their meal. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. New for me was that it had... More

There is a set menu and several specials. We tried the chile relleno - baked not breaded or fried in a light sauce and topped with cheese, stuffed with chicken and served with a bit of relish (fresh tomatoes, cucumber, corn, onions, peppers and fresh lime juice) in a tortilla cup. I had the blue corn tortillas with chicken in... More

I'm not a big Mexican food fan but this was about the best I've ever had. Couple misses though... Had the basic Margarita which I didn't like at all...they have a big selection, pass the the basic one. Had the charred corn salad which even though great in flavor there was nothing charred or even roasted about it, corn was... More

It's not bad but it's not great either. For local Mexican it's ok. We found it over-priced for what you get.

My go to Friday night restaurant.. First the owners are very friendly and accommodating, Here is what is terrific. the waitstaff, atmosphere, coyote margaritas, soups, appetizers, dinner specials, paella when they have it, Here is what is average, salsa and guacamole ( not enough spice or jalapenos for me ). Parking is good and food is reasonably priced.

Great food wonderfully presented for a fair price. Excellent service and a most pleasant atmosphere. So nice to dine in a place where we feel like valued guests as ladies and gentlemen. A special experience.

The restaurant is bigger than it appears from the outside with two rooms for dining. Lots of college kids and families. The service was VERY friendly and attentive and prices were VERY affordable! I ordered a paella which was tasty, but served in a weird deconstructed fashion. My daughter had an empanada from which I took a bite -- very... More

I visited this restaurant in the hot summertime. I enjoyed some really good shrimp enchiladas, and the guacamole was very good. The service was also really good. Overall great value.

We had a nice time at the hopping Coyote Flaco. Food was good and big portions. Margarita's very good and not too sweet. Bar side has different local vibe compared to dining room. Both good.

I am not a big fan of Mexican food, but I found the food at Coyote Flacco very good. The plates are generous, and the specials are worth considering. The drinks, especially the house Margaritas are excellent. The service is prompt and friendly and the room is spacious.
