This restaurant in its hay day was one of the best on the Cape. We parked car. Entrance Red rug dirty and torn. Almost didn't go in. Interior Needs painting desparately. View from every Windows magnificent! Too bad they were dirty! Service the best. Bartender went out of his way to make the perfect chocolate martini. Little extras they give... More

We were spending a weekend on the Cape in Hyannis and decided that we wanted to try an capture a previous fantastic dining experience that we had had at Anthony's. Much to our dismay the restaurant is no longer in business.

The put up curtains to hide where the floors caved in and the ceiling is falling. The place must be infested with mice and insects as it has holes in it. The furniture was worn out decades ago, frayed linen, ec.

My family and I have been eating at Anthony's for over 35 years. While the heyday of such large restaurants is largely a thing of the past (think Thompson's Clam Bar or the Christopher Ryder House), Anthony's is still a solid Cape classic even if it is a smaller version of its old self. At our most recent dinner on... More

Anthony's Cummaquid Inn is a place to avoid. It may have been nice in the 1980s but its falling apart. You must park on grass since the parking lot doesn't really exist. The carpeting is worn out and the ceiling tiles are missing. In fact, they put up curtains to hide the parts of the dining room where the floor... More

This was a last minute place to eat at. Boy were we surprised, the staff was great and attentive, the view from our table was beautiful. Food was delicious...Would definitely recommend this place to all my friends. Absolutely come back again.

This is one of the restaurant "finds" on Cape Cod. Nestled off Route 6AM, this historic building with its magnificent views and outstanding food, is a must-go-to. Dinners come with delicious marinated mushrooms, fresh bread, and to-die-for popovers. Order off the regular menu or take advantage of three-course dinner specials (appetizer, entrée, dessert) for $27 ($10 extra if you prefer... More

The venue is the attraction. Nice views of the bogs and bay. The restaurant needs some "updating" but I have always found the food and service to be solid. But not a busy place, and not sure why.

Went there for Mother's day and were the first to arrive. Of course we had a great table overlooking the bay and a very friendly waitress who told us about a bit about the area. We were curious at to what the Glover salad was since it came with each meal. It is a faux Caesar salad and while I... More

This historic building brings you back in time. The food is amazing. Staff is super friendly. And the ambience was perfect. Our waitress told us the building used to be a captain's cabin back in the 1700s. You can feel the history in this building. And the view from the 8 foot windows is lovely. I loved every bit of...
