I was hella hungry but this meal was beyond good! The pick two came recommended by my fav waitress Crystal...and it was delicious! The batter on the fried catfish was seasoned and crispy. The bayou chicken was super tender and flavorful. I was truly impressed with my food preparation and eating experience!

Recently stayed in Belleville for a hockey tournament. Found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try based on the great reviews and was not disappointed. We arrived on Saturday afternoon with about 12 people which quickly grew to 25 as other families decided to join us. We were seated immediately without calling ahead. The staff was... More

It was great to finally get to taste some good ole home cooking from the Dirty South! It's been far too long since I was based in New Orleans and I missed the comfort of good cooking more than I'd realized. It's not the best Cajun food I've ever had, that requires a trip back south to Nola to accomplish... More

I like the Bayou...I am not overly keen on Cajun food but what I have eaten there is always good. This week we tried the PICK TWO dinners...in total we had the Bayou Chicken, Ribs, Catfish and Jumbo Shrimp. Overall the meal was very good. Catfish was light and mild. JUMBO is a great description because they were HUGE and... More

They have really good food, great service, local beers and a cider! We all had something different and it was all good, garlic rolls were yummy and fresh, and it all came out fast!

I was very skeptical about trying the food here expecting it to be dried out deep fried food and/ or greasy, overly spiced Cajun food. Much to my surptise the food was very good. The Sunday brunch items (which other members of my party had) were very tasty, not dried out and there was a decent selection. But my baked... More

This was the first night of our camping trip to upper Michigan with 3 other couples. The menu is true Bayou. I had lobster ravioli with shrimp in a cream sauce, delicious. The shrimp were so fresh, it was like the boat was out the back door. I will highly advise if you're, plates were enough for two.
