Nice little restaurant with a fun atmosphere. Our waitress was very prompt and friendly. I was the only one in the group who was there for the first time and they gave me a free appetizer of the burnt ends. Very good flavor! I had the half chicken meal and the chicken was very tender. Will definitely go back.

This is truly a hidden gem! Stopped in on the advise of our son...he was so right! Everything we enjoyed was homemade and so tasty. Their hand cot, battered onion rings and accompanying sauce are fabulous, and can't say enough about the great pulled pork, mac and cheese and coleslaw! Definitely a must visit if you're in the area!

Are you GLUTEN FREE? My fiance is severely allergic to gluten, we had expressed this to the waitress when we had got there. After receiving our food they had put a steak sauce on his plate, he asked if it was gluten free Ciera replied yes. Second guessing herself, she then went back to the kitchen came back out and... Had a horrible experience today at Johnny V's Smokehouse in Corunna, Michigan. Our son has Celiac Disease and must completely avoid wheat products. We had talked to the staff at Johnny V's Smokehouse more than once before we brought our son there for lunch. They went on about the training they had received in order to provide gluten free food.... More

My husband and I used to eat here all the time. Since the restaurant changed owners, it has gone downhill significantly, which is really disappointing. At first everything was fine and the transition appeared to be going smoothly (aside from the new owner constantly approaching us to chat while we were trying to enjoy a night out. This happened during... More

Ive had several of the meals here over the years. Its a small seating area so you might have to wait. The dishes that go with the main food ard great. The mac and cheese, cowboy beans are great. Corn bread is very good and i'm not a corn bread fan. Good choice of beers too. I will say that... More

Nice little restaurant. Ive had beeter bbq, but I've also had much worse bbq. Corn bread is very sweet but fairly dense in texture. Steak was cooked perfectly. Waitress was nice. The only thing that was a turn-off was the group of loud drunks sitting near our table. This may not be the restaurants fault, but it still put a... More

The ribs and another meat were dry. The grilled cheese is good, but the dipping sauce I didn't like. Not busy. Used to have wait list.
