Ok so we ordered fish and chips for lunch. both the sweet potatoe fries as well as the regular fries tasted like fish. The fish tasted slightly fishy. The deep fried bread that was served also had a fish taste. My friend and I did not say anything negative to each other about the food while eating as I was taking... A beautiful restaurant in a beautiful old hotel. Service was pleasant and the food was first rate. My wife and I each had the pear and parsnip soup, which was very tasty. I then had the pork chop with Dauphinoise potatoes (that I always choose if on the menu) with Swiss chard and a rich but very tasty sauce. My... More

This restaurant is part of The Dearborn Inn, the restaurant offers a limited lunch and dinner menus. I settled for the fillet steak for dinner, and was not disappointed; one of the best I have tasted. The staff are friendly and attentive with the restaurant itself being very clean.

A variety of offerings, all very generous portions. Love that they leave the coffee urn on the table. Service was cordial, efficient and attentive without being overbearing. Made to order omelets, and fresh offerings were delightful

This restaurant is one of two in the historic Dearborn Inn, the other is a tavern/pub. Tastefully and timelessly decorated with pictures of Thomas Edison and Henry Ford who had the hotel with restaurants built in 1931 to accommodate visitors flying into Ford Airport, making it one of the first airport hotels. The staff were friendly and helpful. We were... More

A group of 6 of us decided to give this place a shot. It is nicely decorated and located in the historic Dearborn Inn. The restaurant was sparsely populated and the service was a little slow. Our orders ranged all over the menu and we all agreed the food was very average. A couple of us also thought our food... More

My husband and I had dinner here twice when staying in the hotel recently. It's nicely decorated with friendly service and good pacing, all making for a relaxing experience. The rack of lamb I had and his NY strip steak were both excellent, with delicious sides. We enjoyed the second meal every bit as much - salmon with lump crabmeat... More

Enjoyed dinner here while staying at the Dearborn Inn. Lovely room. Bright, open and comfortable. Dinner was excellent. Salmon Oscar was exceptional. Server was friendly and provided excellent service. Breakfast was excellent if you had the buffet (outstanding value!) but ordering off the menu was a disaster. Ordered eggs benedict. Took almost an hour and then they were so overcooked... More

Edison's is the restaurant at the Dearborn Inn where we're staying. Our local friends suggested we meet for dinner at Edison's and we liked it a lot. The menu is mostly standard American fare--fish, fowl, lamb, steaks, and based on our experience very well prepared. My wife had quail, I had a rack of lamb, our friends had steaks. All... More
