My husband and I visited Pearls on our weekend getaway. We've both been before and enjoy it each time. I would recommend. The atmosphere is fun and while you wait (because there probably will be a wait in the summer) sit out on the patio...More

While in New Orleans, I tried two different Po' Boys; to my surprise, I didn't like either of them. I was urged to give Pearl's a try, and their Beef Brisket Po' Boy was very good. The fries were also tasty, but I wish I...More

First timer of southern food meeting friends we hadn't seen for a few years as we travelled from the UK and Belgium. Our server was moody and very unsure of everything, she seemed like we were bothering her and answered mainly yes or no to...More

Pearl's is an institution (according to several review sites) so I'm hoping the poor service we experienced was just an off night. It was very busy, but our server didn't bother to hide her annoyance of having to deal with two older women, on separate...More

This restaurant is number one in the area because it deserves it. This restaurant easily competes with the best in both New Orleans and Texas. The steak was cooked to perfection. The Cajun food is awesome. Eden, our waitress was very attentive and caring to...More

Nothing in this place has disappointed me. All the food is so full of flavor... and spice. Loved the crawfish corn chowder... yum! They also have gluten free and vegetarian menus. The music and atmosphere is wonderful... better than when I was in New Orleans....More

We were told to try Pearls. The food is more on the spicy side, which is not my favorite. I had the brisket, which was tender. The mashed potatoes were good. My husband ordered the Ponchartorain (spelling), and he said it was good. The atmosphere...More

We originally were planning to have lunch elsewhere but arrived after lunch hours ended. Pearl's was open and offered an extensive happy hour offering. The jalapeño corn bread was delicious as was the fried okra - heavy batter. They had oysters rockefeller, gumbo, jambalaya, and...More

My husband of 45 years today took me to dinner there. Have not had much experience with New Orleans type foods, but what I had was great as well as what my husband had. Would go there again.

Just want to add to what I said. The Southern food was authentic and delicious. We were a party of four, each ordered something different. The wonderful waitress brought us extra plates, silverware, and we all ejoyed a... More
