Cool, hip looking restaurant with great decor. Love the 40 root beers, but quickly discovered 39 of them come in bottles. 10 flavors were not available, so we couldn't get too crazy. Wish there were more on tap that we could sample, but the 3...More

Located in an up and coming neighborhood on S.E. side of Grand Rapids, MI. Menu has many unusual choices....ask your waiter for explanations. Enjoyed our food and excellent service. One of the quirks here......lots of unusual root beers! Our whole group of 6 enjoyed their...More

Not a single one of us had food we enjoyed, and we are pretty easy to please. Left most of our food there - not even worth boxing it up. The kids' grilled cheese tasted burnt, my mac n cheese was no good, and my...More

The menu is locally sourced, and the chef is very creative. They have some vegan options too for the herbivores in your group!. The macaroni and cheese is delicious, a great blend of cheeses. They have over 27 sodas, including a large variety of root...More

I love the food here!! It has great character in a fun part of the city. But their unique flavor combinations make their food some of the best in town. It's not a super large place so sometimes there's a wait, but it's usually minimal....More

I brought a number of my students here after we had a campus visit to Grand Valley. I normally find good pizza joints to take them to, but they were whiny - "we allllways get pizza" - so I looked for a different spot. Jesse...More

We ate here about a year ago and had an amazing breakfast with fresh, inspired ingredients, so we've been looking forward to coming back. We drove in from Grand Haven to find they weren't open. AGAIN. I'll preface this with saying that I had company...More

we waited 45 minutes thinking it was going to be a great experience but it was just okay. The macaroni and cheese really had no flavor. I think they forgot the seasoning. Our waiter maybe said 20 words to us total and seemed annoyed to...More

I'm sorry, but I live out of state and was only in GR on business and cannot answer your question. My advice would be to call them.

Went tonight about 7pm and had a 50 minute wait, but we just walked to "Sparrows", the coffee and tea store down the way. We had a cocoa and read the paper while we waited. It was well worth the wait!

If your birthday group is small, it would be fine. It's a little noisy and very casual. I'm not sure about reservations, but I would guess they do not accept them. Try to go at an "off" time so it's not so busy.
