I am torn between average and very good. The gyro is very good, but the rest of our food was average. Since I didn't see anything my five year old would like I opted for the shishkabob platter to offer a variety of options. The hummus didn't have a lot of flavor and the pita bread was not good at... I have been to Pita House a half dozen times and tried different things on the menu -- chicken kabobs, lamb kabobs, falafel, etc. -- and I finally figured out what to order. A Sami's gyro. This is the best thing I have had here. Skip the salads and platters and get a gyro sandwich. If you are looking for... More
Good Mediterranean food in a casual setting. It has the usual schwarma, hummus, kibbee and baklava, it also serves hot French fries. Vegetarian friendly. Order and pay at the counter. They also hav a small selection of Middle Eastern staples like canned fava beans.

Best Gyros in town at any one of their locations, and by far the best Greek fries I've ever had!! There are a lot of places to get a 'gyro', in this town or anywhere else; even Arby's thinks they have one, but these are not on the same level as The Pita House. There is good reason for the... More
This is not haute cuisine, it's cheap, delicious gyros and falafel and babaganouj and hummus. Fries are big and atmosphere, well, who cares, you're sitting in one of a row of booths bordering a small middle-eastern grocery (or you're at home, unwrapping the tantalizing lamb/beef gyro in that lovely garlicky yogurt cucumber sauce). Love it every time. We've moved about... More
Best gyro's around. Weather it the the Sami's or the Black & White you will not be disappointed. The meat is flavorful and the size is more then generous. If you are a vegetarian there are equally delicious options from the falafel to the vegetarian platter. I have been eating at The Pita House for years and it is consistently... More
