My friend and I had been to 4 other places trying to find somewhere for dinner on a Saturday night without reservations. All four had an hour plus wait, with a show to catch we couldn't wait. We happened to be headed to a fifth when we drove past this bakery. It was open and not busy. Fate, it seems,... More

Stopped in on a rainy day for scones tea and cinnamon rolls. Yum. The scones were heated as was cinnamon rolls. The five of us shared four items. Not too sweet and not hard or dry. Bus your own table. Suggest have one friend search out a table if you decide to stay and sit. Popular place. Only negative one... More

Ordered a bowl of wedding soup and salad and a diet coke. Soup must have been mixed, wedding and bean. and it was watery and cold. They must of ran out and added water. They never brought the diet coke. The bread that came with the soup was stale. No need to ever go back.

Their breads are made on premises and there are a lot of whole grains, etc. Crusts are a bit thick for our taste....we prefer light crusts that are crunchy but don't make it a job to get into the bread itself. These are thick and crunchy but the bread underneath is done properly....light and tasty. They also have good cinnamon... More

This place was recommended to us at the Meyer May House. It is a great local place for sandwiches. There are also very tempting baked goods. The service was very quick and the decor was typical coffee/bakery.

A few blocks from the Meyer May House is this very pleasant coffee/pastries/breads/sandwiches/salads place on Wealthy Street. We chose it from a TripAdvisor "nearby" list, and were glad we did. Good food, very good coffee, tasty cookies. Tell 'em "TwoInMaine" sent you. It won't make any difference, but we hope you'll stop in.

The ordering process here is a bit weird and gives the atmosphere a strained vibe. Food is good overall. Ecotour36

Visited about 11 a.m., and it was not very crowded. Food is reasonably priced, fresh, and tasty. Bread made on premises. The only criticism I have that it was annoyingly noisy when they sliced bread the three or four times we were there. I'm told that a bit later there are often long lines and lack of seats. A few...
