Best Pizza i

Absolutely the best pizza in Hubbard Lake. We did carry out but, I have a pizza from different restaurants and bars in the area and none can compete, Very reasonably priced as well.. Definitely a winner to call up their grab a pizza and hang out with your friends at the cottage playing games all night.. April's a little chilly in Hubbard Lake to hang out at the lake at night..

Wonderful Pizza

Best PIZZA in the Hubbard Lake area

Cedar Grove Bar & Grill has the best pizza in the Hubbard lake area. The pizza is never burnt and taste the same every time we order one.

Please take the time and come out to Hubbard Lake and try the Stone Bar and Grill out. You won't be disappointed. New menu with upscale dinners being added soon.

Surprising!!

We were warned that half of the bar had burned a year ago but were totally unprepared for the remnants to still be there. It seemed that they should have been cleared away by now. The part of the bar that was open was clean but it smell of smoke was overpowering and we took our drinks outside. We won't visit again unless it is cleaned up outside.

Fun restaurant

We stopped in during a week-stay at Hubbard Lake and kind of wished we'd stopped sooner so we'd have time to return. We sat at the bar and had a great time talking with the locals, the bartender, and the wait staff. We split an appetizer and the nachos and they were very good. Prices were very reasonable. It was a very pleasant couple of hours.

Opinion from an employee!

I recently saw that someone posted about the burgers being expensive and I just wanted to clarify a few things. We do buy our burger from a local store (Hubbard Lake General) and it is $4.29/lb. We are trying to support local business in the area and want to ensure good quality and not a frozen patty like some places get. Also, fries are included with your burger. Most places, they are not. Figure $6-$7 and then add $1.50-$2 for French fries and you have a $10 burger after taxes. We also have dinner specials that include Whitefish (Locally purchased and I haven't had a complaint yet.) And Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo. The pizza dough is made there as well as the sauce! Hope those who had a bad experience choose to come back this summer and give it another shot! It's been a long winter but we are trying! Thanks for reading and hope you have a great summer! :)

Very disappointing

We were so pleased with our meal last fall that we returned in the spring. Big diapoointment. They serve baskets, pizza and Mexican. What happened to the dinners? The waitress said the owner didn't want to serve dinners any longer. I guess they want to concentrate on selling alcohol. We will not be back.

Delicious food!

Our new favorite up north place to eat. Their fish and chips was fresh and delicious. Dinner salad was cold and FRESH (not the usual for restaurants in the area). They have obviously hired a new chef. Don't let this one get away! Food is delicious.

Excellent Pizza and Breadsticks

I love that this place has survived all of these years in a place that is REALLY in the country. I grew up in Ossineke, MI, and I l do enjoy coming here for the pizza and bread sticks now that, unfortunately, the Wagon Wheel in Ossineke has closed down. PROS: - A great option for people who live out here. - Pizza and bread sticks are outstanding. They are much better than the chain restaurants. CONS: - Although the quality of the pizza and bread sticks are amazing, they are a bit on the pricey side. Be prepared for that. - The wait staff is a bit slow when you come to pick up your order. There is also not a good waiting area (other than the bar, itself) for you to sit and wait for your order to be boxed up. My recommendation is to ask for a pick-up time and to politely ask for your order to be ready because you need it on time. - I wish that they were open longer hours, but I understand that they can't because of their location.
