We always enjoy eating at Rosalie's. The only negative would be that they only take cash for payment.

My husband and I decided to try this place since we were in the area. Very cute and unique atmosphere. I don't like the fact that they don't except debit or credit cards if I would've known I would've made sure we had cash, we had to use the ATM and were charged by both our Bank and their ATM... This is our favorite restaurant. Rosalie is a small, cozy, warm place to dine. The staff is friendly and always accommodating. You won't find a more pleasant place to enjoy a meal. And thankfully, small children rarely visit this restaurant, so you will be able to enjoy an adult date night without screaming children ruining the atmosphere.

As a "roadhouse" I would expect a bit more of a dive then glass covered cloth tablecloths. This is not the case. The restaurant is in an old house. The space is very small that they use for the restaurant. When you get to the door you are instructed to push hard because it sticks because it is an old... More

Visited Rosalie's with family of four during trip to look at colleges. Being from out of state, we weren't aware it was a cash-only establishment until we walked in, so be aware of that. We'd received our recommendation from locals who said the food was excellent, so admittedly had pretty high expectations. We really, really, really wanted to like the... More

Located in Jonesville mi.on US 12. This ancient roadhouse is a must. Bring cash! No credit cards accepted here. Have a seat inside or out or on the second floor if it's open. Your waitress will be with you in a snap for drink orders. If you imbibe, go with the Long Island Ice Tea. Be sure you have a... More

When we first Sat down the menu was not impressive at all, we were too tire to leave and I'm glad we were! We started with the mix up for an appetizer and that's when we discovered "Buffalo sauce" very light Buffalo flavor, more like liquid crack! We were dipping everything in it!! Also best Long Island Ice Teas ever!!... More

We were not greeted upon entering and not sure where to go and if we should select our own seat. Long wait for server to appear and longer for food to arrive. Food was expensive and only average. If I had known they did not except credit cards I would've taken more cash with me as I had to write... More

I first went to Rosalie's in 1997. I liked it. Then I started working there on and off through college and adulthood until 2006. It's nice to go back and see the classics and all of the new stuff on the menu and get a Long Island of course. The spaghetti sauce is still made with Josie's recipe.

I've been going here for decades and it's a favorite for lighter fare. Love the classic roadhouse charm. Full bar and good draft beer selections. The Long Island Iced Tea is renowned! I wish there were more menu options, but what they serve is very good. Rosalie's is always among the three or four places in the area that I... More
