Loved this restaurant! We went with our family and it was very private. We had our own room. The restaurant is decorated very nice and the service and food were amazing!

I had seen this advertised a lot lately on cable, including endorsements from the old WMU head football coach, so we added it to the bucket list. Finally we managed to get downtown to give it a go. The atmosphere reminds me of Lady & the Tramp if you are a Disney fan. The menu is typical of an Italian... More

Train blocked us in Kalamazoo so we turned down a quaint street decorated with icicle lights in the trees. Saw this place was pleasantly surprised menu prices were reasonable portions were large. Waitress was great. (Alyssa) ordered the chicken sausage chefs special excellent and spicy. Only complaint was sauce was way too sweet on kids pasta. Surprised to be offered... More

This was a gathering planned for a milestone birthday. Our table was ready when we arrived, the first of a total of 12 in our family. Despite being in an open room, the noise level was low enough we could converse easily. The staff was ready when we were for wine and other beverages and more bread when needed. The... More

Four of us gathered for dinner before a concert at the State Theatre. The restaurant is conveniently located and charming with gingham tables, a respectable wine list and good Italian menu. I had the Crab Fusilli which was good to begin with and they graciously brought additional lemon wedges for my taste. My fellow diners had the flatbread, chicken and... More

The italian food at Mangia Mangia is truly great. Each of the four meals we ordered was delicious and delivered quickly. The price was $80 plus tip for four of us, so it was on the expensive side. With two soft drinks and no alcohol or desert. The atmosphere was casual and the service was great. I wondered why the... More

Our anniversary dinner was a disappointment. This used to be a fantastic dinner spot. We ordered the special drink advertised, but they were "all out". Some of our dinner choices were not available, "all out". The appetizer bread wasn't served. We had to ask for it and it wasn't brought to us until our meals were finished. Our dinner orders... Can't say it blew me away but it the food was enjoyable. Service seemed a bit slow but they were accommodating to our large group including young children. We'll go back.

By your own words you gave our business a so-so rating. Please email me what it would take to get a five star rating in terms of what we are not doing so we can continue to improve. Mangia Mangia brings you a tradition in Italian food that's traveled the world and spanned several generations. We offer recipes born out of old-world traditions and prepared with expert care, from Nonna Rosa's spaghetti sauce that's been in the family since 1936 and served to diners in West Michigan ever since, to new culinary creations presented with authentic style. Our restaurant's name comes from what any Italian grandmother would tell her family and guests at the dinner table. "Mangia, Mangia." Eat, eat! And enjoy.
