After a day of sightseeing in beautiful Khiva and Ichan Kala we had some free time to browse and came apon this gem of a lounge where we relaxed for a while. I loved the Ikat inspired tablecloths and traditional table ware as well as...More

If you visit Farukh, definitely try the draft beer. They serve one of the better local beers. There is no real menu, instead the server will tell you the possible options at that moment. The woman that we had could speak English very well so...More

The worst place where we stayed in Khiva. They have very low quality of service, no written menu and almost zero knowledge of english, so its pretty hard to order if you do not want a plov.

Whoever created this listing gave it the wrong name as the plaque outside clearly depicts 'Teahouse Farrukh' The teahouse is a covered courtyard with a yurt in its centre, which had seating inside. We sat outside to enjoy the evening air. The lady who attended...More

In the morning we liked to drink something and ordered two cappuccino’s. Although you know Uzbekistan is the place for tea instead of coffee, you mostly get something to drink that tastes and looks a bit like coffee when you order coffee. That morning unfortunately...More

Having wandered around Khiva all morning and keeping inevitably returning to its centre (the town is so small), I found myself by Farrukh restaurant, which is located right on Pahlavon Mahmood, at about lunchtime. Although I’m usually cautious about restaurants in the touristy centers, I...More

There wasn't anything special about the food, however the yurt-like setting was special and created a good ambiance for the restaurant. Nice place to just relax for a bit while exploring Khiva.

I think this should be Farrukh rather than Farruh. Anyway, it's on the main street in Itchon-Qala and you can't miss it. A nice courtyard although some seats are uncomfortable. Service is good and all dishes I ate were pretty good by Uzbek standards (lagman...More
