A very welcoming restaurant with good service and great food ! We went for the Côte De Boeuf , a monster piece of steak on the bone , for 2, with their homemade Béarnaise sauce and it was delicious - all around a most enjoyable and tasty experience. We would certainly highly recommend !

We went here after looking for a place to eat for quite a while. The service is very nice and polite, even though they don't speak English they try hard to communicate with the costumers. my husband and I got the best pizza ever and my brother got and exceptional burger. We payed in total just about 50 euros for... More

We enjoyed a very lovely lunch at this restaurant yesterday. I was very enchanted by the wine cellar and the big fireplace. The food was also very good. We were lured in by the pleasant aroma outside. I had roasted chicken with a side salad and fries. My husband had veal schnitzel with mushroom sauce, salad, and fries. Portions were... More

Yep - it's in a tourist town. And yes, it markets to the tourist crowd. But they do an excellent job with traditional, regional cuisine in a neat atmosphere, both inside and outside. We've been to Alsace a half-dozen times over the past twenty years and this is our go-to place for lunch in Ribeauville for a fix of Tarte... More

As the blistering sun and temperature reached 32c we choose l'Ami Fritz. The beer was cold and refreshing. The food warm and uninspired. I selected sausages and chips with side salad. Frozen chips cheap sausages pre cooked and microwaved. Logged into the free wi-fi and was advised to remove my iPad from server for security reasons. The waitresses were unsmiling... More

This was ok. I had a pretty ordinary plate of charcuterie and crudités, followed by the ubiquitous local standard of choucroute garnie (a massive portion), whilst my son had onion soup followed by coq à la Riesling with spätzle (which was probably the pick of the courses we were served). As I say, it was all ok, but nothing special.... More
