The place is quite nice and pleasant, the food is correct but I wouldn't rate it as excellent. The offer is relatively poor in the sense that there are plenty of menus with 4, 5 or even more dishes but if you want a simle normal dinner, there is practically no choice ... Deceptive for a Michelin Guide restaurant :(((

We were staying and chose to have an evening meal. We were not disappointed. From the two appetisers through to the main course and desert the food was very well presented and extremely tasty and full of flavours.

I went a long way to visit this restaurant but feel very disappointed. The food is so so, not impressive at all. I expected good quality of service because this restaurant is on the Michelin Guide, however, the waiter obviously didnt remember what dish I ordered. I was served with the wrong dishes "three times". I had to keep asking... More

Dear Madam, I am also very disapointed in reading your comment because first of all we do not have any Michelin star since more than 2 years. The chef is cooking every day fresh products and the table near you were very happy. We are sorry for the service and normally this kind of problem dose not exist. We hope... More

Had a meal with friends at lunch time. Delicious fish and an excellent white wine to go with it. As a dessert we had cucumber and verbenia ice-cream, very original!!!

The Castellas was certainly worth making a detour when the previous chef, Jérôme Nutile, was in charge. Nowadays the cuisine at a high level again. We have the impression prices went down from an unreasonable height last year to good value for money. The menus are excellent. The lunches formulas attractive

Taureau, Cabillaud, Oeuf 65, Foie gras poelé sur thon all were exceptional (everything was so wonderful that we shared!) The choice of wines is magnificent and the sommelier is a genius. As for the cook why is he not in the Michelin guide with at least one star, his deserts are out of this world.

The food is superb and presentation beautiful. This is the place to dine and relax, and you pay the price. If you want to eat and run, do go elsewhere.

A set menu dinner for individuals which was the best meal we ate while away. We ate from two set menus, the 49 euro and 73 euro. The main difference was that the choices were better for the more expensive and it had a wonderful cheese course included. Home made bread, with lots of extras to start the meal, olives,... More

The food was good (except from the starter, served with burned bread and dull appetizers). The problem with this, otherwise good restaurant, is the staff. We had to wait more than 10 minutes before someone asked us if we wanted an apéro. (Note: there were only 4 tables to be served at that moment). Some of the staff combined a... More
