A lovely place with a great dining room. Menu was in English so no need for any faux pas. Starters were massive, food was tasty and the red wine was delicious.

Good french cuisine that is not too pretentious, as part of a set menu with the hotel is was very good value for the quality.
In my view having stayed here in multiple occasions this is a mass produced hotel restaurant. Clean and sufficient and very expensive. Nothing wrong but nothing worthwhile. Very stockstandard chain style establishment. The restaurant is disappointing and expensive.
Once again we had a wonderful stay at La Ranconniere. Superb room with a very tasty meal. The staff as always were most helpful and friendly even with my poor French! They spoke better English!! It was a shame we were only staying one night.
We did not stay at the hotel, just went for dinner. They seemed to be out in the middle of nowhere, but it was in a lovely country setting. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his steak. I loved the sauce in my vegetable pot with puff...More
While staying at the hotel, we ate in the restaurant twice. The food is excellent! Great entrees, desserts and of course, cheese!
The food was good and the service was ok. They seemed slightly haughty. I wasn't sure if I would be hungry for dessert so wanted to wait to order it but was informed I HAD to order it all together or not at all.
