We had lunch here today. For starters, the foie gras micuit was good. It had time to develop. The mussels was decent. But the oysters were sad. Badly shucked and not well rinsed thereafter. Best to be avoided. My dorade on zucchini spaghetti was a good dish. The beef tenderloin looked alright. The cod was alright but it's accompaniments were... More

Nice restaurant, very busy, you must make a reservation. They work with 2 shifts, so the kitchen is working very quick and they serve your dinner very fast. BUT there is only 1 boy who is serving the drinks........for a big restaurant.......so we got our bottle of wine after our maincourse, and we it ordered when we arrived ! So... More

so right next door to their michelin starred restaurant La Marine, sits this pleasant food processor on the port of lovely L'Herbaudiere, an authentic fishing town supplying great seafood to the markets, shops and restaurants. I can only put average because although food was of high quality, it is certainly not a gourmet or "michelin starred" place to eat. yes... More

We ate in the other half of this Michelin starred restaurant. The food was simple, fresh and delicious as well as reasonably priced. Service efficient and polite. Decor very appropriate to its location. We would highly recommend this restaurant.

We were glad we had booked, since the restaurant was full at lunchtime - we realised after booking that the local street market was on the day we went, but it may well be full on other days. But another advantage of booking early wa that we got a nice window table with a direct view of the port, which... More

Creative, surprising, wonderful fresh ingredients, most of which came from the fishing harbour we overlooked during the meal (some choices were not available, a reality for fresh ingredients). The kitchen is shared with that of the starred restaurant next door. It shows in the creativity of the food and the finish of the plates. The prices are those I am... More

Just had a very average meal - we have been to La Marinaire before. V busy at this busy port /sailing village, but food was pretty under welming. There was just no taste or depth to the food flavours - although the local cheeses and oysters were great. Their strap line 'cooking of yesterday with the taste of today' must... More

Home-made food, with good and fresh local produce, casual service, very reasonable prices, a nice dining room (only 2 tables have a view on the harbour, but the dining room itself is well designed and decorated). The menu and wine list are short, but this is good news as everything is really under control by cook and management, and excellent.... More

good atmosphere on the port. Apparently same owners of the starred La marine next door a simple but very fresh menu and we enjoyed the meal a lot and did not tax the budget too much. worth a visit.
