I grew up in the U.P and these are by far the best pasties I have ever had. They have the traditional and quite a few other options. Not dry like some places up here. Consistently delicious and the staff is always really nice.

We may be a bit jaded, having had many pasties in Cornwall, England. These were OK, but not what we were hoping for.

Celiac safe and very good! Their process to eliminate cross contamination is stringent. Both with gluten or without - all were fantastic. The minis are great for parties and offer some fun fillings. The jalapeño popper minis are the best.

So happy to get vegan pasties again this year. Had a couple at Hiawatha, a couple more on our way through to the Western u.p., another on our way home and took 6 to go!! Each one was excellent. My husband who is not vegan, liked the vegan ones better than the meat. Thanks again for continuing to have a... More

I was diagnosed with celiac disease which requires a strict gluten free diet about 3 years ago. I thought my Pastie days were over. What a surprise to stumble upon this place which makes gluten free pasties while visiting friends in nearby Marquette! My Pastie was so delicious!!! It was great to be able to enjoy traditional UP food with... More

We confessed our ignorance of pasties to the very friendly staff and they took care of us. I had the traditional beef pasty and my wife had one flavored with jalapeños! This was a very satisfying and very inexpensive lunch. We could've had ice cream as well. After a tour of their museum, we wanted to see what the miners... More

I've been eating pasties for close to 70 years, and I am very picky. There are certain characteristics required of a pasty. They have cubes of meat and potatoes in them. No, not ground meat, not shredded meat, not mashed potatoes, and not gristle. These pasties did not have cubed meat. They also should have thick crusts made with suet... More

We stop here often. They make a time tested good pasty that is favored by the locals. They always seem to have hot ones ready to go.

Only place we buy our pasties now - try the chicken pot pie pastie. Always take frozen pasties to our son and daughter-in-law when we visit.

Mini party's are perfect to pull out of the freezer for a quick lunch. Jalapeno, chicken, and beef, they are all delicious! Don't forget the dessert ice cream
