This is the only restaurant I go to for breakfast, I go so often my order is "I take my usual". Great local atmosphere, HIGH quality food. friendly people, everyone from the owner, waitstaff and the bus staff are there to make the meal top notch. Yes there is a wait on weekends, but where do you need to rush... More

The food is good and reasonably priced. It is a great diner. My major complaint is how disorganized the seating plan is. There is no plan. It is a free for all for tables when it is busy. Because of this, I no longer think of going there during peak times.

Ever since our son recommended the Early Bird it has become our favorite place for the best breakfast. I am always in search of new gold standards dishes. I have found several at the Early Bird. The first being, corned beef hash. Lots of corned beef with shredded potatoes and onions. Delicious! Fresh squeezed orange juice. So fresh that you... More

Stopped in for breakfast. Large bar small dinning area a classic feel. Food was fast and good. Menu is large and covers a good range. Service is spot on and friendly. Only negative. Parking is tight.

We've become regulars. This is the place we compare other breakfast places to. Fresh, quality food -- terrific omelettes, thick bacon, juicy sausages, old fashion freshly squeeze orange juice-- great stuff!! Only complaint is that it's pretty crowded on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

We went as a family group for breakfast which was OK, though nothing special. The orange juice was fresh squeezed which is nice but a bit pricey at $2.75 for a very small glass. The bacon was different from the usual kind we see in this area, a bit thicker and fattier. The kids liked their pancakes. The service was... More

Breakfasts were fairly standard. Twenty dollars for two, including tip. Scrambled eggs came with 1 biscuit, which would have seemed skimpy except it was so bad it remained uneaten. It came out wrinkled and stiff, as though from a microwave. Coffee was Maxwell House, at best. Our search goes on for the best breakfast joint in Northville.

The egg skillets are wonderful. Breakfast and service are always friendly and tasty. My son enjoys the crepes and pancakes.

We were told we needed to stop in here for a very good breakfast and were not disappointed. It was - to me - an old country cafe with lots of "roosters" setting on shelves and hanging on the walls in pictures representing the "early bird". They have a full country breakfast, very good food,, daily specials.
