Came with a group of friends and had a marvelous experience. The wine list exceeded expectation (although I wish vintages had been shown); the menu was creative and the each plate from fish to pasta was packed with complimentary flavors, and our servers were both...More

The Toasted Oak has been on the SE Michigan foodie scene for several years. It's not new, but it always seems that way every time I come here. Always something new to try and experience. Some of very best wines by the glass. Some terrific...More

I visited this restaurant while staying at the Baronette Renaissance Hotel. Excellent place. Great food, service and ambience. The best Cesar Salad I have ever tasted.

We had a business meeting over breakfast and everything was perfect. They seated us away from other diners for privacy, at my request. The server gave us time to talk but checked in often in case we needed anything. The food was delicious: eggs cooked...More

I love brunch! Not the place to go for a good brunch. All three meals were seriously lacking in flavor, yet the ingredients used should have tasted wonderful. The bloody mitten was good though.More

Great Sevice. Great Food. Reasonably priced wines. The market is great for take-out. Overall great value!

Very good food, but so loud that our table of 8 had trouble communicating anything! Not made for a romantic night out, of course. I don't know why American restaurants pride themselves in a loud atmosphere.

We had the most amazing dinner here last night. My husband and I are foodies and we have traveled quite a bit. We ate here last night while our teenagers were shopping at the mall and it was one of, if not the best, filets...More

It's not bad. They had good music playing. It's not a formal eating place at all so I wouldn't expect a intimate dining experience though.
