Had beet salad and Scottish salmon with “fried potatoes “- salad was bitter even though it was served with (abet too few) strawberries- salmon was ok but served on top of a clam sauce which as soon as I tasted the clam sauce- it was...More

I really loved the atmosphere in there. You can have a casual drink at the bar and some food or share some apps. Or you opt for a nice dinner. Really good, creative dishes. I really enjoyes the stay

We like the menu. The Hamtramc Eggs Benedict is definitely unique and interesting and worth a try. Dinner is loud. Mainly due to giant mirror over the main dining area. Needs acoustic treatment.

A group of us met for lunch to celebrate a birthday. It was very nice and the food and service are both very good. It is also a good place to meet for a business lunch!

There is a new chef here. An exotic menu like Mizuna greens, elk carpaccio, duck sausage, Morrocan mussels, chickpea spaghetti with lamb and duck fat roasted carrots. We went for the gnocchi and the chef special: the osso bucco. There is a lovely fire place...More

The ambiance is great and the service was good. We ate here two times and the food was not good. They are trying too hard in my opinion to be fancy or different and using too many ingredients. We did not care for it. It...More

Toasted Oak is in the Baronette Hotel. The setting is nice, the food is good, and prices are pretty reasonable, at least by the standards of hotel restaurants. It may have been simply a bad day, but service for both breakfast and lunch was slow...More

Met another couple and had great service and excellent food. Best charcuterie board I have ever had. Wine was reasonable. Ordered the short rib and it was excellent. The pasta entree was very small for 14 $. I will go back again.

It's not bad. They had good music playing. It's not a formal eating place at all so I wouldn't expect a intimate dining experience though.
