Parkside Dairy is a local, family-owned ice cream shop located in one of the most scenic and fun-filled places in Michigan. We offer 40+ different flavors of hand-dipped premium ice cream, soft serve, dole whip, sundaes, malts, shakes and numerous toppings. We are within walking distance to amazing shops, restaurants and Oscoda Beach Park on the beautiful Lake Huron. I can't even believe people rated Dairy Queen over Parkside. There's no comparison!
This is the best ice cream in Oscoda, maybe even Eastern Michigan. We came 2 nights in a row!
Delicious, generous helpings. The blueberry waffle cone & white chocolate raspberry were awesome. Service is swift & courteous.
There's an outdoor dining area, or go down to the park & watch the waves.

Good quick service even when busy. Nice location in town pretty close to public park and beach. Friendly staff and nice seating in the shade.

With over 30 flavors of hand-dipped ice cream, I really had so many choices. Double scoop of mint-chocolate chip and chocolate, add on a turtle sundae and my party was very happy.

Great local ice cream shop with Hudsonville Ice Cream. No complaints on the ice cream, but I find it completely obnoxious that the owner has to put an iPad in your face to attempt to get you to tip her employees. A tip jar is a more tasteful way to have customers give a tip if they feel they want to. Maybe she should pay her employees more and not make customers uncomfortable by her looming over the iPad watching to see if you tip….

Great choices of flavors. Nice staff . They had a few outside tables and there are a few tables at a Rotary park a few feet away. The feature Hudsonville ice cream which is excellent.

We always make it a point to get ice cream at Parkside ice cream everytime we go to Oscoda,MI. Always so delicious and they don't cut back on serving size. Highly recommend!!

Took grandkids for a treat after a long day playing at the beach. Hugh variety of flavors, hard or soft, shakes, cones, blizzards, waffle, sugar or regular cones, just go you won’t regret it. Very friendly staff and everyone waiting around talking to each other haveing a good time. 🍦🍦🍦

This is a favorite stop almost every night we are in Oscoda! The nutty buddy- a waffle cone dipped in chocolate and nuts is my favorite. The small is 2 generous scoops of awesome ice cream! My new favorite.....Michigan Pothole! A chocolate lover's dream! Yummy!!
Make sure you bring cash! They don't take credit cards.

My wife and I visit Oscoda 4-5 times each year but seldom stop for ice cream because I am diabetic. After dinner at Tait's across the street, we decided to see what Parkside had to offer. Wow,,,what a large selection. Hard ice cream, soft serve, ice cream bars. The also had 2 no sugar added flavors: butter pecan and chocolate moose tracks. The moose tracks was wonderful,,,,and my wife said that the chocolate peanut butter was wonderful as well. Prices were good and the service was fast and efficient.

I went here on 7/3/2017 around 7:00 in the evening. There wasn't a huge line and I was able to get to the counter in about five minutes. I picked my items, although it was crazy tough to read what they made. The prices and item board was confusing. Stickers, Post-it notes, labels and even Sharpie marker notations indicated the prices and what they offered. I wasn't the only one having an issue with this as most of the people were trying to pick out their ice cream from the bizarre menu board. I ordered a shake and my wife ordered a chocolate dipped cone. The cone took one minute to complete, while it took my shake around five minutes. Overall, this was a decent place to get ice cream. There's also a Dairy Queen down the road, but this is another option if you're in Oscoda.

I have gluten and dairy issues and I can have their soft serve. Fast, friendly and excellent! Their soft serve is so creamy and Lactose free. Huge selection of hard ice cream, regular and waffle cones, sundaes, shakes, everything ice cream!

The only complaint we have is we saw a sign coming into town advertising Mooneys Ice Cream so we drove around town then came back and decided to park and walk to get come ice cream, We were walking in the opposite direction that we came to town in and we saw a sign advertising Strohs ice cream so we turned around thinking we past it but we couldn't find that sign advertising Mooneys so we came back and looked on the other side of the sign which was for Mooneys so they have Mooneys on one side and Strohs on the other.
