On a morning bike ride while visiting the area I noticed tradesmen leaving the restaurant after having breakfast before heading out on their jobs and figured it must be a place for good food. I stopped back in later in the morning and had a very tasty vegetable omelette with melty cheese, crisp hashbrowns and an English muffin. Service was prompt and friendly and the price was reasonable.

The food was pretty good but the staff reported that she “forgot” to seat us after cleaning a table. Then the waitress spilled our drink on the menu and did not bring anything to clean it up. Then the busser asked if we had been helped after sitting for about 15 minutes. We were about to leave after waiting an additional 5 minutes after receiving our drinks because noon came to take our orders. A new waitress came to assist us and she was much better and made up for the errors in the beginning. Kitchen staff did not all have masks but wait staff had masks or shields. This area of the State seems to have a lot of wait staff who do not really wear masks or wear them appropriately. I’ve seen others with them hanging off one ear, very loose with the nose and even top lip fully exposed... so, this was a nice surprise.

I was at the restaurant with a coworker for breakfast. I ate omelette with toast bread. The price is reasonable but very busy restaurant. Great customer service. I stop by again. No WiFi but very clean environment.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. They treat their customers horribly. If you share 1 french fry you get charged 1.50 sharing a plate price. Take the rest of your food our 4.00 Togo container price. Place a carry out order get charged 4.00. Not to mention their food is palatable that is about it. I recommend you stay away

The restaurant is clean, the waitstaff friendly, pleasant, helpful and efficient. We shared an omelet. The ingredients tasted fresh and the omelet was delicious. We definitely recommend and will definitely go back when we are in Oscoda again.

Have had good breakfast here in the past. Stopped in for lunch, bad decision. Two of us ordered different soups, really bad. The clam chowder was all flour, no clam flavor at all. The Lemon rice was just scary. Tossed salad, head lettuce, 2 small pieces of a cucumber and 1 cherry tomato. I am afraid this one is off our list for good.

Nope never again. Intestinal distress in a big way. Kitchen from what I could see is nasty dirty the service slow as heck food was Luke warm at best even the silverware was dirty

I walked in with my family to eat, right when we walked in the waitress yells across the restaruant we dont have room infront of all the people in the restaruant. She didnt even greet us or come to the door and speak to us politetly. So i called the manager lisa, i told her i understand there is no room for us which is fine, but the waiter could have came up to us telling us sorry due to limited capacity there is no room for a group of 6 rather then screaming across the room we dont have room. The manager told me ill take care of it , sorry for the inconvenience, So the manager apologized for the fact that there was no room (inconvenience) but she didnt apologize for the way the waitress spoke to us. then I told the manager im not bothered that you didnt have room i understand because of the covid-19 there is limited capacity but the waitress kicked us out unpolitely. she could have spoke to us more politely again the manager said ill take care of it ,i said ok and all i hear is the phone shut in my ear. The manager literally told me that and shut the phone while i still wanted to talk. . I wanted to tell the manager that she could have atleast told me sorry for the way the waitress mistreated us . The manager didnt even apologize for the way we were treated. Now i know where the waitress got that from.

Please do not visit this establishment. The owner treats his employee terrible. The owner berate our waitress in front of everyone to the point of her being in tears. And I understand this isn’t the first time. And it won’t be the last time if we keep visiting this establishment. Please everyone treat you employee, friend and even family with respect and kindness.

The waitress was rude. Food was so so. The ketchup bottle had never been cleaned off. The menu was dirty. Considering it was busy she did not need to treat us like this. Burnt coffee. And I normally do not write reviews. Everything and every place we visited was fantastic. To end our vacation with this meal was a very bad mistake that we will jot make next year.

We use to really enjoy this place, about 10 years ago. Today was terrible. The service was slow, not enough people. The waitress did not get are order right and wanted to fight about. The bill was high and had to reminder her for coffee refill. The place is starting to look dirty inside. It will be the last we go there.

No hats, gloves, or probably any dish soap. I would not feed a stray raccoon from this place, it's a health hazard and the whole family lives in the kitchen. Bad all the way around..stay clear

Restaurant was clean and food was decent but service was horrible. On a party of three all the orders were either cooked wrong or missing something. There was some sort of "office" in a booth and the ketchup bottle was gross. Service was sub par. We had to ask of napkins and basic condiments.

I RATE A RESTAURANT AND FOOD #1
Any restaurant now-a-days that makes their own bread, hash browns and mashed potatoes .... Unbelievable !! All food was Excellent!!.. Waitress "OVER THE MOON" . left me and my mother very happy and stating this is the "go to" place to eat. We left giving our visit.... all thumbs up

How this place stays open is beyond me. The cars in the lot are from people that either died in there from food poisoning or were taken away in ambulance. Filthy and disgusting. Yuck.
