Second visit in the 6 days. First visit was lacking the service which we had last year. Sunday's visit was worse. Shortage of staff and no managerial presence. Asked if the manager was available and were told "he wasn't working today." We were told there is a new manager and it's been downhill ever since. The responsibilities are way over... More

Went for dinner after going to the Petoskey open house, arriving g around 8. Salad bar was shut down. Decided on soup but if the 8 choices in the menu, only 3 were available (a 4th was available that wasn't even on the menu.) Soup was served off the end of the salad bar so my "beef" barley was mostly... More

I wouldn't normally review a chain restaurant because generally they are pretty standard wherever you go, but this one was particularly bad. When we arrived, we had to wait for a host/ess to greet us. This gave me time to look around. I commented to my husband that this wasn't going to go well. There weren't many people there, but... I to Petoskey every now and then and I like to stop there at the Big Boy. I like the new one as they tore down the old one and other than the parking lot which is a bit tight and has an uphill slant to it I really like the food. Sometimes we have had to street park on... More

We came in on a Sunday around noon. Expected it to be busy. However, we got seated and it was a good 13 mins and no one came to take our drink order. We watched people come in after us and got drinks and food ordered. The icing on the cake was the people that came with their DOG in... More

People you encounter definitely define your impression of the place your visiting. This Big Boy was the BEST of all we stopped at along our route. Great service, great food and wonderful staff. Wish I could visit more often.

We usually stop at the Big Boy in Petoskey while travelling through. Food is okay. Price is okay. Coffee a little weak. Service is good. Usually busy at lunch time which is the only time we've been here. Convenient parking just out front.

As long time loyal customers of Big Boy restaurants, we visited the Petoskey location during a little vacation. Overall we were pleased but the store seemed to be struggling a bit. Previous reviews were mostly negative about the service there but we wanted to give it a chance since we truly are loyal and want BB restaurants to survive for... More
