Great raw bar and reasonably priced. We tend to go early for the buck-a-shuck special and the shareable menu items. Service is always consistent and very good. The restaurant can be a little loud when crowded, but still one of my favorite places to go....More

Nice place! We stopped by for brunch and it was a bit noisy with the live jazz band even being seated in the back. But not so loud that you were yelling at each other. They have a smallish menu and dedicate themselves to executing...More

It's been there awhile--not nearly as long as The Box Bar......but same location, on the square, in town, convenient.........and killer Bloody Marys!!! I'm told the oysters are marvelous--very allergic, so must "settle" for other yummy things. Great, and interesting salads, chicken plates and good fish...More

I really love the chic decor but the food is what keeps you coming back. The fish and chips are the best around which is surprising to see that on the gourmet menu, but everyone who tries it can't wait to order it again! Also...More

The prices were excellent as was the food. My friends came from Birmingham for this one. Really is an outstanding deal, great food. We all had our semi older kids who had fun too. For seafood lovers- oysters in particular, it's really good.

The Sardine room is a fun place to go. My last visit was during happy hour and they always have great small dishes to share. I have also eaten dinner outsuide many times in the summer. Never disappointe.

Wounderful table location and with table cloths. Waiter was superb and the fish walleye was cooked to perfection. The drinks were strong. The way you like it.

Of the three restaurants in this "family" this one is has the best service and the most interesting menu. The food keeps getting better and is competitive with the current 'in-spots' in downtown Detroit. Nice cocktails, small plates, great brunch and a raw bar, too....More

On a trip to Detroit, looking for something interesting to do, we found an Ice Sculpture contest in Plymouth. Having never been there, we found the little downtown area a real gem of restaurants and shops. Our first trip didn't allow us to do much...More

The Sardine Room offers a raw bar with pristinely fresh oysters and seafood, along with small and large plate menus featuring American bistro fare. A rotating chalkboard menu draws on seasonal, locally sourced products, keeping daily specials fresh and regional. These sections of the menu, along with contemporary bar snacks and sides, let our patrons dictate their dining experience. A meal can be constructed of any selection of snacks, sides, small plates, large plates, or raw bar items, providing an alternative to the formality of traditional ordering. Fresh crudos, artisanal country hams, and house made pates are served in whatever order the diner desires. Large plates such as kobe flat iron steak or bouillabaisse can be shared among a group or ordered as a meal unto themselves. Our culinary team prides itself on executing creative, honest food at reasonable prices. Beyond the kitchen, our bar program features well prepared cocktails made with respectable spirits, and an emphasis on the classics. An eclectic, affordable wine list is offered alongside a michigan-heavy selection of craft beers. With a design that walks the line between big city sophistication and prohibition-era Americana, The Sardine Room gives nod to the contemporary while evoking the spirit of speakeasies, jazz clubs and seaside dives of bygone eras. Located directly across the street from Kellogg park in downtown Plymouth, The Sardine Room welcomes all interested in a good drink, a good bite and a good time.
