We each had a HALF order of the Sahara salad with a side of chicken shawarma and we both left with enough food for two more meals! Friendly fast service. Will return!

Picked up a carry out the other night with Beef Kabob and side salad. The kabob was nicely grilled medium rare as requested. Great flavor and the grilled onions and tomatoes add the finishing touch. The rice is phenomenal. The side Sahara salad is excellent. Sometimes I just get a full order of the Sahara salad. Simple lemon/vinegarette dressing is... More
We always order the Chicken Sharama platter for two.served with fine carved chicken with spices and rice pilaf and white garlic sauce.Middle Eastern salad and pita bread.plentyfull for two people.always leave satisfied and very friendly staff.
I like Sahara. You are never rushed and the food is fresh. Lentil soup is great. Fatoush and hummus are consistently good. Oddly enough, the lamb is probably my least favorite. It always seems tough. However the gyros and chicken kafta/kabob sandwiches are good. Nice family.
I have friends who live in Muskegon who inisist on going to Sahara when they're back in St. Clair Shores because they think it has the best fatoush salad around. I agree.
A small family owned restaurant with great food and service. My family and I have been going here for many years and have never been disappointed. By the way, Sahara serves up very large portions. I... More
My self, wife and vegan only college age daughter had a great dinner. I was surprised at the generous portions. We had fresh juice drinks....very good. We had the vegetation sample platter for 2. We split it 3 ways and still took some home.
