Our first visit to the Village Inn Restaurant was very enjoyable. The service was friendly, helpful and efficient. We sat at a window with a view of Mackinac Island and ordered a yummy appetizer of mushrooms, caramelized onions and spinach atop artisan flatbread with a sweetened balsamic dressing. Then we split an entree of chicken enchiladas...very tasty. The high point... More

We've been to this restaurant many times since it was recommended to us. Good sometimes poor. Horrible hard chairs and booths. Service inconsistent. Once, waitress was more interested in talking to her friends than waiting on us. Pizza good, burgers so so. Usual mediocre food.

I was in the St. Ignace area for a meeting on April 11th.. During our meeting the Mackinaw Bridge Closed.. Wanted to find a nice place to eat and relax until the Bridge opened. When I got to the Village Inn and sat down there was only a few people in the restaurant. I sat down and waited about 15... More

Waffle fries amazing. Service good. Got the burger with everything. Signature burger. Sweet pickles, 2 different kinds of onions, excellent brioche bun. Burger look amazing. Huge! Cut into it and it was not even a 1/4 lb thin patty well done in between all those great condiments. I would be embarrassed to serve a patty like that to an adult.... More

Based on other reviews decided to try this. I tried the Sugar Shack burger and husband had the ribs. Everything was okay but felt " just average" for food.

We came up here for snowmobiling and found this place due to good reviews on trip advisor. I got a burger that was very good, it's a sweet burger and the menu says you want to try it. I am glad I did and would normally not order such a thing. Salad was really fresh and my husband got steak.... More

What a wonderful surprise after a long drive. Not your standard menu but certainly something for everyone. A great taste treat after a long drive. Nice historical setting and great service. We will make this stop a tradition.

I've been there a few times over the last few years and it has always been good. Service is prompt, and prices are inline with the surrounding area. Try the Reuben or the fish sandwich!

Frequented the Inn and Restaurant on trip north with the grandchildren. A nice, well maintained facility centrally located in the downtown area. Convenient to other restaurants, the ferry to Mackinaw Island and the beach walk. Relatively economical for the family. Have stayed there twice and will frequent again.
