The website the phone message says it’s open until 8pm. Thursday night at 7:30pm closed. Said to call if you come after 7 to see if they’re open. Sunday randomly closed at 5:30pm. People were still inside eating both times. Done. Don’t bother trying to...eat there.More
Great stir fry place where you can go up and watch them cook it! The crab Rangoon was amazing too and keeps me coming back for it
The kids and I wanted Asian cuisine and the local Chinese restaurant was take out only - this restaurant was recommended and I am so glad we went! The "create a bowl" was new to us and was fantastic! Great value (enough for left-overs), offers...alcohol, delicious food! LOVED it and would definitely go back!More
Enjoyed a lovely Birthday celebration with our grand daughter and family. It was a fun night picking out the foods and watching them cook,
Lots of great choices to make your bowls! Plenty of veggies, meats and sauces Add an egg, too! Great appetizers while you wait.
The food here was very good, but I do have a slight criticism of this place: the menu prices weren’t listed anywhere that I could see them. My friends and I all found that our stir-fry bowls cost a little more than $16 (I think...the receipts said there’s a baseline price for the bowl, plus a little extra for the meat you add?). Our waitress was pleasant but she didn’t check on us very much, and she actually never brought me the rice I ordered on the side. The food I did eat was good, but I don’t know that it was worth $16 for the amount that I got. I wish they were a little more transparent about the prices and maybe had them listed in menus or online or something.More
Went here by accident what a nice surprise. Friendly atmosphere and good food. Set up Mongolian style pick your protein and all your toppings and they cook it for you. Will definitely be going back.
Tim's Too is more of an experience than actually eating. For the most part you create your meal and one of the fine chefs heats it. Service is good, value is fair.
More room. Fun atmosphere and great fresh food. You fill the bowl and they serve it you at your table. They do have alcohol and close to everything downtown and to the beach.
As a senior citizen local our first experience with this delightful Asian restaurant was a little daunting. No menus, no signs to help a first time customer, especially when there was a well laid out brochure at the door. This brochure should be at every...table - makes a great menu. Also a sign saying "Seat Yourself. Wait staff will be right with you." So seat yourself. Wait staff will take your drink order - and write your name on a wooden stick. Then you serve yourself. Grab a bowl and add your choice of fresh ingredients. Top it off with 3-4 ladles of sauce, which are rated by hotness 0-5. Choose colored sticks to customize your stir fry. Add your wooden stick. After being cooked wait staff brings your stir fry to your table and some rice. A fun delicious experience. Will come back. Lunch price is $11.99 and Dinner is $15.99. Beer and wine served, including some local favorites.More
This was my first experience with do it yourself, in a restaurant. You get a bowl, add noodles, and lots of veggies, then sauce, which there were plenty to choose from. They had little cups to try samples. Then you add your meat, then it...gets cooked, It was great, and I will definitely go back. I can't wait.More
If I get to pick where we go for lunch, 9 times out of 10 it'll be Tim's Too. When I first tried similar restaurants like Tim's Too (Mongolian BBQ style) I didn't really get it but that's because I didn't know what I liked...at the time. Now that I know what I like in my stir fry, I can't get enough of it! It also kind of feels like a game too, how much/how high can I get stuff into that tiny bowl they give me! Pros: • Love coming here for lunch. I don't really have to wait too long and now that they expanded the seating, it's not crowded anymore. • The key is to plan ahead and pile it on high enough to get two meals out of your bowl. I really like it the next day for leftovers! • The sauce is key. It might take a few times to get what you like and what goes together. I feel like I can never get enough sauce though. I usually have to go back up and add some extra sauce after I get my bowl back • The flatbread is where it's at! I love it so much but I'm pretty sure it's not healthy for you at all. I could 100% eat two, but only get one for health reasons! haha Cons: • So the lunch price is great, the dinner price, I'm not that excited about. It is literally THE SAME food and size portion but it costs a lot more. I never go for dinner.More
A MUST in St. Joseph! A person picks meat, veggies, and sauce, piles it in a bowl, and the chef does his magic. It is delivered to the table with rice and a delicious type of grilled bread. The flavor was amazing. One of us...had spicy lime basil sauce(yummm!) and the other: pad thai ( which he loved). No atmosphere here—just great Asian food.More
The food is fresh, nutritious, and delicious. I knew this place would be good when I noticed how many local folks were eating here. At the start of the selection process take a bowl and load it up with noodles and veggies. Next, pour on...one or several seasonings. Take a small bowl located near the meat and select your protein. Finally add some peanuts and if you want flat bread add a yellow plastic stick to your bowl.More
