We split a pan fried walleye which was delicious but regretted not ordering one of the many burgers they serve. It is a popular spot even in the winter so be prepared to wait a little while.

Excellent burger choices. Love the Pub Burger on the pretzel bun. The Butler fries are outstanding and have never had anything like these before. I'm sure there are other great things on the menu but I can't help but ordering a burger. The key lime pie was outstanding. Service was outstanding and atmosphere has always been pleasant.

We stopped at the Butler for lunch on our way for sunset photos in St. Joseph last weekend. The food was good and service was good. We both had the Turkey Reuben. Their sweet potato fries and the onion rings are also good, I even ate half of my sandwich and fries on the ride home after the sunset and... More

We popped into the Butler on a cold day to be greeted by a fire. Sat down near the window to look out but could not see much as the clouds had settled in before snowing. Lovely ambiance and very attentive staff. We were really happy with the food but a touch pricey. Given it's location, I suspected that could... More

For years I have heard about this place. When i first moved here, tried it. Ok burgers and oh so pricey for what you get. This past summer, tried again to see if things changed. Even worse, as with a summer crowd, drinking too much beer and a minimally talented trop rock band, saw a pathetic sight of "20 something... More

We came here a lot during the summer, so we thought we try winter. Clam Chowder is off the chain!!! Sydney, our server was so sweet. Warm fireplace. Good food.

Love this place for a burger and a beer. Big dining area on the water, attentive service and juicy fat burgers. Pair with a local beer and loosen the sweatpants. Love the beer based cheese for the burgers and the Butler fries are crispy delicious. Must try for lunch or dinner.

We have stopped in at the Butler a few times when we have visited Saugatuck. The food has always been great. Always comes out piping hot and fresh. They also have amazing burgers. Would recommend anyone that is visiting Saugatuck to try the Butler.

We loved the food at The Butler! My husband ordered the waffle burger and wishes he could have it every day. My dinner of chili and sweet potato fries was also good. We went there on a November evening, so we couldn't see the view. It looks like it would be beautiful during the day or summer nights. The only... More
