They boast on the sign - made from scratch - I am scratching my head to figure out what? Had the cod meal- tasted like mediocre frozen fish sticks.Shape of fillets and poor breading made me think frozen, not from scratch. Fries were excellent, coleslaw not so good..... Food took a long time to arrive. No milkshakes on Monday! Are... More

The best place for breakfast in Scottville. Very good omletes and their breakfast specials are great too! Service is good, but be aware that they will be busy on the weekends!

Nice cozy restaurant, homey feeling. Decent sized menu, offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. Portions were OK, usually at places like this you get larger portions but it wasn't too bad. Had an omelet, was OK, bacon here is deep fried so if you don't like crispy bacon, opt for the sausage. Cinnamon rolls were excellent, very sweet and large in... More

We were on a day-trip to see Dr. Po's in Weidman, Mi., from Manistee and found this diner for our dinner at the end f our trip. Very good diner food,....put this diner on your list on your next Western Mi day-trip.

Almost had to walk out because it took SOOOOO long to get out food, then it was Luke warm, and had to remind the waitress about several things she omitted from our order, and it wasn't busy

Not that exciting. I had three of four had breakfast and our conclusion was "ordinary" and not something that would have you drive out of your way. Maybe all the choice those in Scottville have. Not negative...just no pizazz. Eggs over and country potatoes...no seasoning added at all. Potatoes barely fried. Think of boiled potatoes, cubes and thrown on the... More

We were traveling home after a weekend vacation and stopped in Scottsville for lunch. We enjoyed our dining at North Country Cafe. Menus and condiments are on the table and you seat yourself. The day we were there they were promoting their fresh cinnamon rolls, although we didn't try them, several patrons were ordering them to go. The menu was... More

Stopped here with my sister for lunch. It wasn't very crowded but it was a weekday about 2 PM. They advertise that everything is made in house. I ordered the egg salad which was made that morning and my sister got the tuna salad which was also very good. We splurged and got the key lime pie for dessert which... More

Close to home with home cooking. Staff treats you like you're family. Prices are great. Large portions. Try them once and you'll be wanting to keep going back.
