Excellent food, great service, and good ambiance! The menu has a variety of Italian food and everything we tried was excellent. The server kept us updated on the status of our order as each course came out. Fresh rolls were served with yummy roasted garlic butter. However, the “lookout” was a view of a small garden in the back of the restaurant. Also, I found it odd they don’t offer espresso, or have malt vinegar for their (fantastic) fried perch, or include Italian beer on their menu. I recommend trying the Italian Soda though!

Outstanding food and service

We had a great experience from beginning to end, the wine selection was excellent, for me it was possibly the best Old Fashion i ever had. The Caprese Crostini, The Prime Rib, Shrimp Scampi, were all excellent, we finished it off with coffee and split the Chocolat cake, which was huge and delicious as was the coffee. we had enough food left over to have lunch and dinner the next day, and the leftovers were also delicious. Oh also highly recommend the cannoli's, we took one to go and wow. I have to say that the service was as good as we could ever have, Kathleen made our visit special she was so attentive and unbelievably intuitive, I am sure all the staff is great, but she is exceptional.

Delicious!!

This was our second time at Rosa’s. I definitely recommend making a reservation as they are taking Covid precautions seriously, which we appreciated. The food and service has been stellar for both of our visits. This restaurant is worth making a special trip to visit!

Not real Italian food. Worst we ever had!

The worst “Italian” food I have ever had. Chicken piccata was swimming in a weird soup and chicken looked boiled. Alfredo sauce in chicken alfredo tasted like it was out of a jar. Horrible. Out of dessert by 6:00 pm and the cannoli we did get the pastry cream was terrible. Prime rib was descent but not worth the price. Waitress was very friendly.

So-so eats

Foid is just not that great. American cheese on noodles with little sauce for $25, not my idea of good eats. The service was excellent. I just wished food matched. On top of that, the rock oven has been broke for weeks. That cut down the limited menu. For the price, better places out there.

Fabulous Italian cuisine in NE Michigan!

We heard great things about Rosa's and were not disappointed. My husband had the Alfredo with shrimp and the portion was huge! I had the eggplant parmeasan and both entrees were yummy. The occasion was my husband's birthday so he even got a free dessert. Bonus! Special kudos to our server, Kathryn who took such good care of him on his special day. Thank you!

Italian food done right

Rosa’s is the place to go! I always order the manicotti which is so flavorful. Many other places leave you feeling miserable but not this place. Quality food for a fair price. Do yourself a favor and check it out and as for Kathryn ( our favorite waitress).

Best Italian food ....better than big city high end Italian. Great service always!!!! Thanks, hard to find top notch food around these parts. (Try the zesty penne, you won't be sorry)

My husband and I often frequent this restaurant, as a couple, or with family and friends. We always have excellent service and outstanding meals, with a tasty, Italian flare. Don’t miss this gem in Northern Michigan!

Olive Garden much better

Wife can't have alcohol allergic so most of menu she couldn't have apparently everything prepared and reheated later. Service was ok but very slow. I would of rather had Olive Garden

Expect ting a bit better

First time dining there. Kinda slow between courses and getting drink refills soda and ice tea took too long as well . Salad was delicious but very skimpy on the lettuce like barely any . Wife is allergic to alcohol so most of menu was off limits. All meat and seafood cooked in wine and apparently all pre made could not accommodate her in any way. Spaghetti and manicotti were delicious better than most. Decent for special occasion if you live in the area and don't want to travel very far.

New management is not the best!!!

I used to love this place, but the couple of times that I went back was not the same I found out that the owner changed, nothing looks and tastes like before very disappointing!

Fantastic Dinner

I went to Rosa's for my birthday dinner. Had one of their Roc steaks. You get to cook it yourself on a 700 degree lava stone. Steak was excellent, My waitress Erica was wonderful. Somebody was always checking to see if I needed anything. I just HAD to try the cannoli for dessert. It was out of this world. I'll be back, for sure I'd give it 20 stars but it won't let me
