This review serves as a PSA for all those hoping to find the amazing, naturally-leavened, no-yeast-allowed, all-organic, hyper-local Pleasanton from 2007 - 2013. This ain't it. If you don't know what I'm talking about, this bakery will serve you just fine (hence the "average" rating because it is exactly that). If you are looking for the once-exceptional Pleasanton, entering through... More

I go out of my way on a weekly basis just for a loaf of their bread.....it is special. Never mind all the other delicacies that find their way into my basket. It's really an exceptional product.....GO.....SEE......ENJOY THE BEST!

Don't miss this bakery. My favorite was the chocolate almond croissant but the pizza was delicious as well. We loved it so much we are planning our stay this June at the Commons right across the street because it's so convenient and delicious!

We just went there for the bread. It was crusty and delicious. The varieties were also great. I understand they change their offerings daily. What a treat.

We stopped after lunch to visit this bakery for the first time. We bought a couple of their large cookies. They also had all kinds of pastries and breads.

This little bakery is actually good for people with a gluten intolerance. They use a special type of wheat that is not a GMO. So, we went and ordered a few things, including a pecan cherry loaf that was close to 7 dollars. The first slice revealed a slice of bread without a cherry or nut in sight. Second slice... More

Love every thing about this bakery. From the irony of an fire oven in a former fire department to the artisan pizza. We will visit here at least 3 times in our week's stay. Ginger cookies as big as plates. Pepperoni pizza with Sun dried 🍅. And breads that travel back to Indiana.

We come up for the Micro Brew and Music Festival every year the past 5 years and just fell in love with the commons area. The baked goods here at Pleasanton Brick Oven Bakery are just great. They have a nice selection. Point at what you want and they grab the fresh ones from behind the counter. Watch it get... More
