My wife and I begin our weekly day off at Randy's, sometimes bringing our grown kids and grandson if they are free. It is a no frills diner which also happens to be our favorite breakfast place in town. The food is delicious, well proportioned and offered at a fair price. They cook "basted eggs" perfectly and the sausage links... More

My wife and I pulled into Traverse City, Michigan, after a three and one half hour drive. We were starving for a morning breakfast and thank God we found Randy's. We ordered the traditional two eggs, hash browns and toast and let me tell you, our food was delicious!

Very large menu, lots of choices for everyone. Quirky diner, that has with stood the test of time. We had a chicken wrap and a burger. Our server was super friendly and efficient.

I have been going to RANDYS 5-6 days a week for 4 years! I am there at opening, 6:00am. The breakfast, 2 eggs(anyway you like 'em), potatoes(hashbrown or American), toast(whatever kind), is a tasty bargain for $2.59!! PLUS full menu! Don't be too surprised if you can't eat all of your lunch or dinner! Ask about the fresh pies! Pecan... More

I usually shy away from diners, but my husband I needed to kill some time so we decided to grab some breakfast. I have a gluten sensitivity, and I was thrilled to see that they offer gluten free toast! They also have gluten free bread options and hamburger buns on their lunch menu! It is a greasy spoon... but sometimes,... More

When you see a LOT of cars in the lot of a restaurant, you can be pretty sure the food will be good. Good bet here! The breakfast was great. Good service and good prices. Friendly waitstaff. You might have to wait a bit on a busy day, but it's worth it. This is not Cracker Barrel. =)

We went for an early dinner and there were several other diners there already! The servers were so friendly and helpful. We didn't need to wait too long for our meals and they were served hot and were as described. Portions were generous and food was good. The atmosphere here is really welcoming. I love to eat at local places... More

We were looking for local color and found it at Randy's. Very reasonable prices and great French fries with our dinners. The main attractions, fried chicken and chicken fingers were only okay with pre-packaged coleslaw. Nothing great but friendly, quick service.

Fantastic classic diner food. Wide variety on the menu, 4 soups plus chili daily. HUGE portions, more than reasonably priced, delicious taste. This is an amazing dining value. A Traverse classic for many years. Next to the Garfield Save-A-Lot store, across Carver from LaSeñorita.

Good place for a quick & very casual meal. Best for breakfast, but good sandwiches & Friday fish fry. Good value, clean & friendly service.
