I very rarely give a 5. This place deserves it. Others have praised the pita chips with hummus, cheese and salsa type dip. The Parmesan pita chips were warm and softish - really good. The dips were very good as well. Highly recommend it. Then we had the beer cheese soup. My wife and I tasted it at the same... More

Upon searching Trip Advisor for a new restaurant to try in Traverse City I came across poppycocks and was immediately intrigued by their menu so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the pita chips appetizers and it was absolutely amazing! I ordered a tomato brisket soup that was pretty good and we both ordered an Up North... More

Stopped in for dinner this evening. Tried the Lime Shrimp Pasta and was very surprised. It was amazing! The shrimp was cooked perfectly not tough like you find in shrimp dishes. The pasta was covered with an amazing Parmesan sauce that was infused with a lite lime flavor. The dish also contained spinach that did not overwhelm the dish. This... More

My husband and I appreciated the comfortable surroundings, the variety of choices (vegetarian entrees included), the reasonably priced wines, and the friendly, efficient service. I'm a soup person so the $7 trio of soups hit the spot with a salad. For dinner their beef brisket stroganoff is a treat to the palate, the meat tender. One local mentioned that one... More

EVERYTHING is wonderful here! The atmosphere is lively & fun. Servers know their stuff. The menu changes everyday with their specials of the day. Love their soups & don't get me started on their exquisite collection of desserts! Full bar offering local brews & wine.

Stopped in for dinner on a busy night but only had a 10 minute wait for a table. The Wine list was good with reasonable price points. Our house salad and fresh rolls were served quickly. Both were average. The entrees however were excellent. One was the squash pot pie. It was an acorn squash filled with butternut squash, mushrooms,... More

Great menu with good daily specials. Try the mango curry. They have a nice vegetarian selection. Service is good too. It's a popular downtown spot, with a selection of inspired soups.

The waitress was a bit thrown off about our questions about the food & our requests for modifications. We also had some difficulty getting some water. Everything came out as we had requested & was really, really good though. It's a little on the pricey side, but with in range of reasonable expectations given the quality of the food.

Great food and service located right downtown Traverse City. Parking can be a bit of an issue, but well worth the effort.

Took the family here and were not disappointed. Numerous Michigan craft beer selections, and quite an assortment of dishes: lamb Ragu fettuccini, salmon on a cheese polenta, and pork tenderloin with kale sprouts, not to mention the great pits chips with 3 dips. 4-5 standard options on the kids menu. A meal we won't soon forget!
