Had the pleasure of dining here for over the summer. Long line? No problem! The patio is open with live music and ample seating. Kick back and have a cocktail with friends. I had the NY Strip and it was seasoned and prepared perfectly. Desert...More

Stopped in for lunch while on vacation. Had some trouble getting seated when it wasn't that busy. While I am not a seafood fan the rest of the family loves seafood. This place didn't disappoint. The seafood was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was perfect...More

Delicious food. Nice atmosphere. Melt in your mouth filet, fall off the bone ribs, and to die for smoked whitefish dip.

The whitefish is divine, perfectly cooked, fresh local catch, and the perfect crunch. The drinks are a tad pricey and it was a bummer not being able to dine outside on such a beautiful fall day, but what a nice place and view. Yum

Wonderful food and atmosphere. It didn't disappoint. I had the prime rib and my husband had the rainbow trout.

Picked this based upon the ratings and because we wanted "local" fare while in the area. I had the Walleye and my wife had the seafood linguini. Both were as good as we have ever had. Service excellent, clean and neat setting on the waters...More

Great venue, with a view of the bay. The staff were friendly and helpful to this first-time patron. The pan-seared Halibut with mushroom risotto melt in the mouth perfect. Was there at sundown, it was busy, so you might want to call ahead to see...More

Being a pescatarian, I am always looking for good seafood restaurants, and this is simply the best in Traverse City, and the one I always recommend. My particular favorites are Apache Whitefish and the Walleye, but all of their dishes are superb. If a potato...More

Timing is always a question at this place. Sometimes is it 30 - 45 minutes, other times, immediate seating. I would get there before 12:30, and ask for a table at the window and enjoy the view.

The Apache Trout Grill has a casual lodge theme to the dining room. Over looking Grand Traverse Bay is the perfect setting for any occasion. The Apache serves good food right.
