One of my favorite restaurants. We always make it to The Camel Rider's at least a couple times a year and are never disappointed.

We ate dinner here after a long day of snowmobiling. Food was good, and the bread is delicious. Alittle expensive for up north, but you won't leave disappointed. It's a small place, so reservations are your best bet.

We had the place to ourselves due to the weather. Camel Riders came recommended by several friends who had eaten here and I must say they're recommendations were spot on! Everyone mentioned the steaks, so that what we choose. My husband orders prime rib everywhere we go and he always offers me a bite. This was the first time I... More

Great food, but the price of a cocktail is ridiculous. A rum and coke in a short glass for $6.00??? There really is no need to gouge patrons on the cost of a drink.

My husband and I have eaten at The Camel Rider's many times over the years. It's a bit on the pricey side, so we tend to eat here on special occasions. It is worth every penny. I am an extremely picky eater. We are always very satisfied with our service and the quality of our food. Although I've eaten many... More

Super high end restaurant with great views and wonderful food. On a lake and accessible by boat, associated with a resort.

Reminds me of an old time Northwoods supper club. Typical of northern Wisconsin of 40 years ago. Very good food and nice atmosphere. Great view of the lake. Wait staff was very courteous and friendly. Small dining room so reservations might be recommended. Definitely off the beaten path so you have to know where you're going.

A little known restaurant tucked away in the woods, well worth the drive along mostly dirt roads; while you can't get a GPS signal, if you program the address before you leave civilazation, it will take you right to it. We had been there years ago, before the full service bar, and decided to treat ourselves while in the UP... More

I'd heard about Camel Drivers for years, but never been, partly out of inertia, partly out of fear of miles of dusty dirt roads. But it turns out that the roads are all paved and well-maintained, with only the last very few miles on a perfectly respectable gravel road. And then what a great spot to turn into. A lovely...
