We had breakfast skillets. Small open kitchen style restaurant. Nice variety of breakfast food. Homemade corn beef and caned available.

Quick place to grab grub. We stayed at St Joseph hospital. Diner is within 2 miles of the hospital. They have been around for awhile so the food must be pretty good. We had country omelets that were very good as well as the fresh fried potatoes. Biscuits and gravy were just ok though. Prices are decent also. I would... More

Cinnamon toast was the best. Food was good, and the service fast and friendly. Looked like it's a favorite of the locals.

The menu has a lot of great lunch and breakfast choices. The breakfast choices are available all day. Reasonably priced. Fast, friendly, efficient service. The food was tasty.. The booths are comfortable to sit in. I will be back!

We go to Golden Egg on a regular basis, and we are always treated like our business is important to them. The staff go out of their way to make you feel special. It is owned by two brothers who run a great business and take care of their staff, and Jennifer on the waitstaff (along with many many of... More

These two brothers make you feel at home with the food they cook and the conversations they will have with you. During our stay they open up early to accommodate our starting time of 7 am. Food is just like home cooking!

Great service, good food, very laid back and friendly atmosphere. They do a great job of making over medium eggs. The food is plentiful, so go on an empty stomach.

My wife and I was visiting our daughter who attends EMU, we stopped here for breakfast our first day and then returned with our daughter the next day for another morning delight. The food was plentiful, delicious and hot. The service, from our immediate welcome from the cook to the friendly waitresses service was outstanding. We all enjoyed our food... More

Traveling from Saginaw, Mi. to Jacksonville, Fl. Looking for a place to have breakfast on the road, stumbled on the place by accident. It is obviously a favorite local restaurant from the number of "regulars". The portion size is overwhelming and food is well prepared.
