Recently on a trip to Minnesota, our family stopped at Ernie’s on Gull Lake. I was just in time for a casual lunch directly beside Gull Lake; with snow falling over Gull Lake. I was able to sample my first “walleye fish fries”. The walleye...More

Ernie's is right on the lake. It looks like a log cabin and has large windows looking out on the lake. There also is a pier to pull up your boat if you're out on the lake. The service is friendly and attentive. I had...More

Ernies was a fun place with beautiful view of Gull Lake and interesting gourmet menu. I had prime rib that was tender & juicy. My sister loved her fish & chips. My son had a rib eye steak that looked like an ad for the...More

The lobster bisque and French fries that others raved about were not good at all. Bisque was not warm and was not rich and creamy. French fries were thick and tasteless. Burger was ok. Service was great. Loved being on the water.

We started with the cheese curds and beef sliders and found both to be good and tasty too. I had the lobster bisque and it is delicious- a cup is a cup but if you get a bowl it is huge !! My partner had...More

We have eaten at Ernie's several times this summer. Each time, the food was excellent with good menu variety. Our family had a large group celebrating a birthday & the staff couldn't have been more accommodating or efficient! As a result, we have recommended Ernies...More

They could accommodate that many people, but you definitely need to make sure they know when you are coming and the exact time. They get very busy, and as for cake, just call and talk with them. They are great at service.

No, I don't even think they take reservations - try going a bit on the early side so you can have lunch outside on their patio!! Enjoy your stop at Ernie's - probably one of the choice stops in Brainerd.

Description
Ernie's on Gull is a year around family restaurant located on the shores of beautiful Gull Lake. Summers our lakeside deck and patio bar and open everyday with the best views of any restaurant in the area. Summer weekends bring nightly entertainment on the patio. Enjoy a cocktail and watch the sun go down to the sounds of local and regional acts. Executive Chef Jason Hawley and his culinary team have assembled a menu that caters to the tastes and trends of today while also embracing the items that have been staples here for many years. Our diverse menu offers a wide range of options to choose from and is constantly being updated as we move from season to season.
