We stopped here for lunch on our last visit to Duluth. I ordered the lake trout. It was perfect, lightly fried in butter with a thin crispy crust. I'm can't wait to go back and order it again, it was that good. The service was...More

Nestled next to the lift bridge on the canal to the Lake Superior port, the lighthouses and boardwalk; Grandma's Saloon and Grill was the best part of experiencing the port. Not only was the food the best, and the fastest (not kidding!!!) but the place...More

We have stopped by here several times on our way to the North Shore. The service is always fast and friendly. Love the decor, which in itself is an entertainment. The menu is vast and food is decent, but not really out of the ordinary....More

Grandma's is one of my favorite American restaurants. I have never had a bad meal there. They have an extensive menu, moderately priced, and great for families. They make the best wild rice soup in Northern Minnesota.

Good place for all American food like hamburgers and sandwiches. I tried the fisherman food plate that included wild rice. If you are hungry after walking around Lake Superior this is the place.

Seriously. Try the fish and chips. Not sure what it was that was so delicious. The fish? Or the tartar sauce? Maybe it's the combination of both. (Sadly though we didn't see the waitress again after she delivered our food until she brought the check....More

Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
