Have written previously in praise of Bellisios which in my opinion has the best wine cellar in the midwest. My review today not only focuses on Belisios being a magnet for wine aficionados, but also a kudos to the staff who make the place fun...More

The service we experienced with Taylor as our server was really exceptional. We had a dinner drink first and were not rushed to order. We took our time and enjoyed the lovely ambiance of our surroundings. One drawback the lighting could have been a little...More

This is one of our favorite, “must visit” spots in Duluth. Fine dining, extensive wine, in a casual setting. Dress-up or dress-down - it’s all good here. Regardless of how you dress, this place excels with their food and service. Try the gelato for dessert...More

Friendly staff and good Italian food. What impressed me the most is how the staff accommodated our children. We didn't know this was a higher end restaurant when we decided to go there. Our waitress was friendly and engaging with our children which I appreciated....More

We stopped here for lunch. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. My husband had fettuccine alfredo and he loved it. I had a lunch special of Italian sausage risotto, salad and peach melba dessert. All were very good. I tend to like...More

Fine dining isn't exactly what you think of when you think Duluth/Canal park area, but this food was a decent shot at that. The food is really tasty and most times there is a special event this place is packed. The decor is a little...More

Nice place to have a true Italian super at. Great wine selections. A bit pricey, but worth the experience for a romantic dinner or treat for oneself.

Great question! I would have to say that our traveling guests hear about the great walleye in Minnesota and because we live on Lake Superior we feel it's important to offer a walleye dish. Our Walleye Milanese has an... More

We also were in very casual clothes. If you wanted to make it a dressy, special occasion, you'd be fine. if you'd been exploring Canal Park all day, you could show up in casual clothes as well. Hope this helps!

Classic Italian dinning and Wine Spectator award winner since 1999 Bellisio’s restaurant conjures up images of highly skilled chefs, fine wines, superb service, and fresh Italian food. And while all this is most certainly true, one must not forget that Bellisio’s is above all an experience. An exceptional dining experience, to be precise, but one that takes place in a casual atmosphere reminiscent of the quaint eateries and wine bars of the Italian countryside. And no wonder. The experience is fashioned after the small village of Bellisio, Italy, home to the owner’s ancestry. Imported direct from Italy are the beauty, comfort, romance, and glorious recipes. Specialty dishes include perfectly prepared pasta dishes using the finest imported and local ingredients; fennel roasted rack of pork; homemade risotto dishes; grilled steaks; shrimp; seafood; and a fresh catch feature every day. All served with a world class wine menu to match. Bellisio’s has received Wine Spectator’s prestigious “Best of Award of Excellence” every year since we opened in 1999. It’s a simple, colorful, elegant, and exceptional dining experience.
