Stopped in during a busy holiday weekend all to find just two other couples in there at 5:40pm. We had just 6 people, 2 of which were kids. Waitress was very rude and asked if we needed reservations. I looked around and laughed, thinking it...was a joke because no one was in there. She replied “it’s courtesy to let kitchen staff know when you have 6 people in your party up here” - lol - excuse me? We’ve been to many restaurants, in fact all of them in the same area, sometimes with 8, sometimes with 12, even on their busiest of nights. Guess what, every single one of them welcomed us and said how thankful they were that we were supporting them - great comment! Big tip! This chick - nope! Food was nothing special. Ambience was terrible and they were playing rap music for two old couples and a family. Wow. Was told it was so dead that they were going to send their cooks home!! Another lol moment as it wasn’t but 15 minutes and the place was packed. They are crow that night. If I’m starving to death and that was the last place on earth to visit, I guess I’d go. Shy of that, visit an establishment that appreciates your business. This place won’t last - they can’t afford to buy more tap beer because they were all out that night! Wow wow wow. Good luck.More

The four of us enjoyed our meals. The alfredo pasta with chicken and almond encrusted walleye were top notch! The avocado salad left us looking for avocado! The Buffalo chicken mac & cheese was OK. All the portions were generous. Service was so-so due to...a lack of staff.More

The name has changed from the Y Club to Rock Bottom Bar and Grill. Stopped for lunch and we were not disappointed. The place is clean and well lit. They had two specials that sounded amazing, but we were not that hungry. The menu has...some interesting choices, I had the gyros I ordered one (can get two) and it was huge and delicious. Nancy was the bartender she was friendly efficient and knowledgeable of bar and food menu. This will be our regular stop on our way up north.More

This was the first time we'd been here. We sat inside and it was bright and seemed to be nice and clean. There was also outside patio seating. We all ordered lunch. It was tasty but portions were WAY to large. You would be better...off splitting a meal. For lunch, I would say prices were on the high side. The staff did a very good job.More

Been several times as I am new in the area, about the only I ever had that was good is the gorgonzola bread, is to die for. Had the fish and "chips" once, so much batter on it was hard to find the fish, my...fries were burnt sliced potato's that should never ever escaped the kitchen., Nobody care period, I complained and got a 20 gift cert and still had to pay for our meals at twice the amount. Geez! Doubt I will ever go back and use the certificate unless its for the bread and a beer.More

The wife and I stopped to see what they had to offer after they were closed for a while and was reopened by another owner, the service was poor, the “manager” was to busy talking on the phone to even get a cocktail, the wife...ordered the “Big and Juicy” chicken strips and I ordered a hamburger. The wife’s chicken strips were far from big and juicy, looked like large French fries and dry. My hamburger wasn’t bad for taste, but for the amount of money they charged for it , I would expect something larger than a slider. Needless to say, we won’t be stopping there againMore

Stopped here on way up to Longville to my cousins cabin on Long Lake in Longville. Stopped here for a late lunch. Had the Fish n Chips and a couple of beers. We ate outside on the deck. Food was OK, not seasoned very well...and service was not very attentive, had to ask for silver (plastic due to covid), napkins and salt & pepper. Can’t say I would stop here again, although their advertised Prime Rib on Friday & Saturday night did sound good.More

I would recommend the Y. They have an amazing salad with strawberries, walnuts Mandarin oranges. Very large restaurant. Also has outdoor seating with view of the lake and the giant walleye. Servers were very nice. We went during Covid and they were all wearing masks...and being very cautious.More

Local docal place off 169. Food was ok but the homemade chips were great. Specials for Viking games was $4.75 a bottle. Where's the special? Had the Reuben, corned beef was a tad fatty but was good.

We were driving home, decided to try it. It happened to be during a Vikings game, so there was some game special. The food was good, a couple of burgers. A slight mix up on the order, but the staff fixed it immediate. The staff...was friendly and helpful. Full bar and pull tabs also available. Conveniently located just off Highway 169.More

I was recently on a guys trip in Garrison and we found ourselves eating here for most lunches and dinners. Overall, we were very pleased with the high quality food options, and the variety on the menu. My two young sons were always able to...find what they wanted, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had many menu items but was very pleased with their walleye (all preparations) and their steak! A great experience and meal after a day on the water! Next time we head up that way, I’ll plan to grab a steak and walleye combo as soon as I arrive to town!More

I should of known better since this is the same owner as the old Hassie's in Brainerd. The food was eatable but nothing special. The prices are a little steep & the service was slow. The Taco Salad was a pile of Mush at the...bottom from too much water on something. We got charged $2.00 for a child's lemonade & the waitress messed up a dressing order for a salad. The restaurant was pretty dirty & bathrooms were gross.More

Excellent food, excellent views of Mille Lacs from outdoor deck. Service was so so, and cleanliness average, but the food made up for these lacking areas. Recommend the caesar salad (homemade dressing) with Walleye fingers! Yummo!
