The CAMRA Good Beer Guide is always available when we're on holiday, as it gives so much info about pubs in the area that we are visiting. That's why we tried the pub just down the road from our holiday venue. Booked a meal. Terrific. (Having sounded out the menu previously, I had reserved a portion of their "Venison sausages,... More
A lovely warm welcome with roaring fire in the grate. Extensive menu of 'pub grub'. Service is always with a smile. A favourite haunt of ours for a reasonably priced, delicious Sunday lunch.
A delicious meal again at a lovely friendly pub. Bar staff & waiting staff alike are so nice, we did wait a while between starter & main but it is all freshly prepared & cooked so no complaints. Look forward to visiting a giant when we're in the area.

Usually a good selection of ales, my Dad is a real pub connoisseur & he says if you always had Broadside on then this place would be perfection. Whoever owns/runs this place is... More
