Whether I'm in the mood for a great breakfast or a tasty lunch, The Pastry Shoppe always meets the need. Full breakfasts like the everything hashbrowns or just a pastry (the croissants are yummy) are available whenever open. The lunch menu rotates according to Chef Brett's whims but always includes a wide selection of wonderful options.

Stayed in Lanesboro Saturday night and visited the pastry shop for Sunday Breakfast. I ordered the Cajun crepes. It was great. A, fluffy delicious crepe filled with sausage, hash browns and other stuff seasoned perfectly on a bed of hash browns with 2 eggs over medium on top....wife had the eggs benedict and friend had hash....great food..enough for 2 meals... We decided to stay overnight in charming little Lanesboro in the off-season, and not at a bed and breakfast. We woke up the next day and worried that we might not find a restaurant open for breakfast early on a Sunday morning in November… My husband walked outside across the Main street and discovered that this pastry shop was booming... Do not go to this restaurant if you are very hungry for breakfast--service is slow and disorganized. For example, when we walked in there was a huge crowd of people at the cash register and pastry counter. There was no one taking names to be seated and no one was available to direct the patrons coming in. Some were ordering... More

I am planning to return to Laneboro just to eat here again. Due to my work I have had breakfast all over the world and I had the best two breakfasts in my life at this restaurant. There is no menu. You simply order what you want. When I was told this by the waitress she told me, "Don;t worry... More

No menu; you tell the cook what you want and they prepare it. My husband ordered corned beef hash and they made it for him, serving it with the eggs on top. He said it was delicious! The rest of us ate pastries, which were delicious! We also had eggs served with toast and jam. It is only open for... More

The best scones on planet earth. Also very good coffee. We went there for breakfast. Wish they were open every day.

Went with a group. Really a small place; no menus, just order what you want for breakfast. The pastries were excellent. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. Would definitely go again. Loved this place!

This place has a great hometown, friendly feel. The pastries are delicious - as is the homemade bread (a slice or two come toasted with your food). They don't really have a menu, so we usually just ask for whatever (eggs, french toast, etc). The last time I was in they had ham and asparagus quiche or sausage gravy and... More
