My husband and I went to Mogul's because we missed another event at the winery; we were pleasantly surprised by the taos nachos being possibly the best chicken nachos we've ever had. Tons of avocado and a spicy sour cream plus just the right amount of jalapeno = delicious. I added lettuce for just a little more crisp. We also... More
Stopped at Moguls after checking out the ski hill. Sat in the bar area, great service all around. The bartender was extremely kind and friendly, she made the area seem very welcoming. There is a dining area if you don't want to sit in the bar. They also have an outdoor fire pit that they fire up year around. Look... More
There were 7 of us. My husband and I ordered bottled beers and didn't get them until after the salads arrived. I had to ask 3 times for a box and then our server seemed to have left because she never came back to take our checks, another person finally ran the credit cards. The food was okay, I was... More
It has all the basic Pub food. Prepared just a step above a pub. Plus there are a few nice specialities. Wonderful Northwoods atmosphere. There is a bar on the side with tvs and such. Great to watch games but doesn't infringe on the dinning area. Moscow Mule was great!
The ambience was for skiers, but seemed a bit much. The glasses and all silverware were all curved. The chandeliers had skis on them. The food was nothing special, but large portions.
Moguls is the best option for ski in/out food at Lutsen. The menu has a wide selection, and the quality is much better than the Chalets.
We've dined at Moguls twice in the past, a few years ago, but always had a great experience. We were really looking forward to having dinner there again but we left pretty disappointed. Our waitress wasn't the best (we heard another waitress tell her tables on multiple occasions it was half price burger night - our waitress did not mention... More
The last two times I've eaten here, the experience has been underwhelming. We normally eat in the bar. The service is always good, but the food isn't. I ordered the salmon BLT and it was so dry I had to use three additional mayo packets to get it down. My husbands burger was nothing special either. They charge high-end prices... More
Wow!!! New menu is very good. We started off with poutine with pork belly. Outstanding!! The Sweet Potato burger is out of bounds crazy good and has a nice kick. Walleye cakes are always great. Valley chicken is very good. Staff is always friendly. Tap beer selection features several regional beers to please everyone.
