This is for the Sky Top Restaurant located in Macy's on the 12th floor. Very fun view of downtown Minneapolis and very minimalist decor but what do you need when 3/4 of the restaurant is glass windows? Went for lunch with friends and we all enjoyed our meals. The soup/salad bar is very easy to use and made checking out... More

On a shopping trip to the beautiful Macy's store, we ate at the Sky Top. The soup and salad bar was exceptional with a wide variety. There are other options as well like a grill and tortilla station. Nice view of the city on the 12th floor. I was also impressed with the many other options for lunch on the... More

Everything is fresh and delicious. The food is not cheap, but you can tell everything is made with fresh ingredients. Nice place to stop and refuel for more shopping;-)

If you like hot, home-made popovers with honey butter as a free appetizer, this is your place! Formerly known as Dayton's Oak Grill, this restaurant has old-school ambiance with a variety of foods and wine selections, daily specials, quiche of the day, and did I mention the home-made popovers? You won't be disappointed!

Nothing special but a good place to get good on the run when shopping downtown Minneapolis. The selection is extensive but you are located in the lower level.

For a 'taste of MN', there's no better place to go. Their wild rice soup, pop overs and meat loaf all taste the same via each return visit and truly provide visitors with a 'taste of MN'. Service is always excellent, prices reasonable, noise level is such that you can hear yourself talk

We liked the feel of this restaurant. It is casual, but classy. We had drinks and appetizers and all was good. We liked that they offered a few lighter more healthy items. The outdoor patio is great.

A Minneapolis tradition was born on October 2, 1947, when the Oak Grill opened for business. Architect Bob Hansen used characteristics from the Jacobean period in the design of the rooms. The ornate fireplace, originally from Salisbury, England, was over 300 years old when it was transported in sections and reassembled in the Oak Grill. With its solid oak columns and vast frame, it soon became the room's focal point. Its distinctive appearance, along with dark paneling, red chairs and dim lighting, help give the Oak Grill its cozy ambiance.
