Whenever I am in town, i take my daughter here on Sunday evening for the pre fixe. I love the food any time but it is particularly good value then. The selection will not disappoint.

This was one of the best meals we've ever had! The atmosphere, service, and food were unpretentious but exquisite. No big signs- make sure you know the address. The interior is quiet, clean lines, and lovely. The food was creative, unique and delicious!!! It was so fun to try some new combinations and flavorings. And the service was perfection! The... More

I really enjoyed this dining experience! The food was excellent and the service was outstanding. The local beer was really good also. I would definitely recommend this place!

We visited The Bachelor Farmer on a Sunday night and had a wonderful experience. The manager and staff were so friendly and very helpful in making food and wine selections. We tried a couple of appetizers and then three different main courses. They were all wonderful, and I would highly recommend all of them to other diners. We will definitely... More

We initially reserved a table for 6 but then half our party canceled. While walking into the restaurant we ran into a few friends and they were able to accommodate our growing party. We ended up with a party of 11 for dinner. Service was exceptional and so accommodating. Our glasses were never empty. I'm new to Nordic cuisine but... More

This is a very cool place to visit for a first time person wanting to try a new place. We even got a place there even when it was booked since we cancelled a prior time and talked to the manager. Excellent service, good and original food and just a neat place!!

I ate at the Bachelor Farmer Cafe (not to be confused with their more formal restaurant downstairs).. was delicious. The menu is always changing which is nice; you get what's seasonal. Had one of the open-faced toasts - perfectly pink cured salmon and crunchy cornichons (can't go wrong with any of the open-faced toasts actually), and a lovely feta and... More

Sunday noon; young adults taking up 1/2 the small seating area, busy on their laptops. One couple reading novels, oblivious to the fact that customers need spots to sit. Management does nothing to discourage this, it seems. Sunday menu is limited. My friend's salad was in a soup cup-minuscule portion. My sandwich was impossible to cut with a knife and... More

This is a high end establishment without feeling stuffy or pedantic. The wine list is extensive but features primarily European wines - however the waitstaff knows A LOT about the wines and are willing to help you find a bottle you will like. The menu reflects Scandinavian cuisine mixed with local ingredients. Reservations recommended! Very nice night out!

Our group of 4 were really excited about going here for dinner. Monthly we choose one of the "better" restaurants in the Twin Cities and the four of us give them a try. We really expected a great meal here and it was disappointingly just average although the service and atmosphere were outstanding. The little chips they bring you at... More
