I've eaten at Fika before, so I knew the portions were small. No problem there. But with small, simple and expensive, I do expect quality. And the meatballs were bland and tough. It took away from the delicious flavors of the rest of the entree. The worst part, however, was the cinnamon rolls. Unfortunately I bought 3! They looked so... More

Very very good food and they paired with a very nice warm wine. We loved the service too. Highly recommend!

When I was last here two summers ago, meh. After today, I will make Fika one of my regulars for lunch! Super fresh ingredients, creative combinations and presentation, and super delicious. The place was BUSY with the Christmas crowd. But well worth the wait. Normally I don't get too excited about Swedish meatballs. Not here. I will definitely order these... More

If you go to the American Swedish Museum, you must eat at FIKA. It is truly an experience. The menu, although small, is very good. We ordered the Potato Leek Soup with Bacon, Swedish Meatballs and an assortment of Swedish cookies. The Potato Leek soup was served piping hot with crispy bacon crumbled on top. The soup was creamy and... More

This place is so delicious. I had the lemon spaetzle and it rivaled my Danish grandmothers, which is no small feat. Love the atmosphere, it is clean, staff was friendly, and I enjoyed the gift shop as well.

Scallop small plate, wonderful! We noticed that the menu seems to have fewer non-sandwich small plates than in the past (?) Hope they will add back a few more favorites--Brussels sprouts dish they used to have is fabulous. Expensive but worth it!!

Small but wonderful menu. All the food looks like a work of art. The crispy tofu was one of the best entrees I've ever had, and my friend liked the Swedish meatballs. Creative drink menu. Liked the gin drink and the birch cream soda. The place is mainly a lunch spot, very casual, and a little sparse in decor with... More

We'd read good reviews and came out to see the Turnblad Mansion specifically so that we could have lunch at Fika first. The food was truly delicious, and the ambience of this part of the facility is very pleasant, but the portions were egregiously small for the price and we likely won't return for this reason. The meatballs and salmon... More
