This restaurant has a reputation as a solid, down-to-earth place with good old fashioned favorites like the American breakfast and breakfast burritos. Heck, they even added a couple new wait staff to the seasoned crew. They have fun artwork and an outside porch in the summer. But with fame comes fortune. Coupons and specials are non existent and the food... More

We enjoy breakfast places and had heard about this place so when we were in the area gave it a try. It was a busy Sunday morning so hard to find a parking place (there lot is limited), but there was a table immediately available. Service was quick. There was a broad range of people eating. Everyone seemed to have... More

Had a group of 5 people meet for breakfast. I hadn't been there in years but would go back. Generous portions of food. Everything was great. Pretty busy location and parking is limited but we got a parking spot and seating right away.

Not a fancy place but has a homey feel to it. Kind of a hip, happening place with all kinds of local art on every wall. The place was packed, which is always a good sign of a good restaurant. Great food and good-sized portions. The coffee kept flowing - never had to ask for more. Great service - seated... More

I consider Minneapolis as a hidden jewel for culinary experiences, and always try new dining places on my visits there. I just happened to be walking by this place next to my daughter's apartment and decided on breakfast. The food was outstanding. I had waffles and eggs with authentic maple syrup. The best breakfast I have found in Minneapolis.

This a typical diner. Not much for décor. Service was great and food was excellent. Got seated right away. Food came rather quick. Pricing was average. I was looking for a good breakfast and that's what we got!!!

Came here on a Sunday after church and had great service, fast delivery of food and great portions. Two french toast completely filled the plate, and was fantastic. Good little gem to find!

Such a bland place, and the thought that people will associate this place with Minneapolis' food culture is embarrassing. The space: Depressing, with dim fluorescent lighting. The few windows don't provide much light to the main dining area. The artwork is random and uninspiring, the carpet is dark and the furniture is cheap and bland. The tables are very close... More

We enjoy eating here since the servings are generous and the servers are friendly. Nice historic and art-worthy photos on the walls to enjoy gazing at while you wait for your meal. This place is usually frequented by local working people near the artsy Uptown area. Good food, nuff said.
